A Wiligi Experience - Wiligi Outstation reviews
8What a wonderful location! Our three best days ever! The campground is wild, fabulous, and well-maintained. The size of the campground makes it possible for everyone to spread out without feeling packed up like sardines. The bathrooms are spotless, and the showers have excellent water pressure. Since the beginning of our road trip of 7 months, Liz and Reuben have been the kindest hosts we have encountered. You can also rent boats, which is something we really wanted to do, we will definitely do it when we will be back! The campground is surrounded with a beautiful and wild beach.
WOW
I was taken to Wiligi for my 50th birthday. The veiws are breathtaking, with the most incredible sunsets. We camped two nights in our swag and one night in an eco tent. We hired a boat and caught Spanish Makeral on my birthday. Liz and Reuben are amazing hosts. It was such a wonderful experience to be able to share this special remote destination. The camp was filled with like minded people, that were purely there to fish, camp and enjoy the setting. I have so much appreciation for the raw beauty and simplicity of this location. Thank you Wiligi for the most amazing and unforgettable birthday.
Wiligi was basic, but magnificent. If you're looking for 'stars' maybe not for you. However if you want beauty, and are badly with basic facilities, then this place is majestic.
Was lovely staying in the eco tents at Wiligi! Everyone was so welcoming and lovely and the sunsets were amazing. We hired the boats to go fishing and had a great day on the water. Great facilities at the lodges and camp sites. Highly recommend everyone gets up to Coburg Peninsula. Great drive in roads were in pretty good condition.
We stayed in the log cabin for 3 nights, hired the boat for 2 days - what a magical place, caught plenty of fish, and the cabin was cozy
Shane was very welcoming, and an all round great bloke
Thank you for allowing us a once in a lifetime experience
Would recommend to anyone
It is nice place. Good fishing spot with nice view. And very friendly service and comfortable bed. It’s the place I will visit again.
If you want to experience the remoteness of the Northern Territory coastline, with comfortable accommodation, this is for you. Very friendly hosts.
