A Good Rest B&B

The host at A Good Rest, Margaret and Alf, are welcoming, accommodating and kind. The breakfasts included in the tariff are top notch. The well appointed rooms are comfortable and exceptionally clean. The location is quiet and within walking distance of the Telegraph Station, town and the end of the Larapinta Trail. I had an absolutely wonderful week in Alice Springs staying at A Good Rest. Margaret and Alf will mind your dog for no extra charge and treat it like they do their own.

Finding suitable accommodation can be “ hit and miss” but sometimes you are rewarded with a “HIT”
Booking A Good Rest B&B for our week in Alice Springs was definitely a “hit”! Margaret and Alf were great hosts, our studio accommodation was perfect and the bonus was we could bring our dog Rusty. (I think Rusty was better looked after than we were.)

Fabulous Hosts - Margaret and Alf were so kind! Lovely comfy bed and delicious breakfasts. Saying Goodbye after our 3 nights stay at the end of July was like leaving good friends!

We stayed 4 nights and Margaret & Alf made us feel at home. They were perfect hosts that go beyond the level of service. They provide a terrific breakfast (to each individual tastes and requirements) they do beyond to please.
They also shared their nice bottles of red wines with us and fed us and other guests pizzas.
Alf is a great story teller and has great yarns of his wonderful experiences with the First Nation People.
We had a unforgettable trip to Alice and the hosts are informative of all the attractions.
Do not miss this special Hospitality - it is genuine and in short supply.

Just by chance came across the accommodation after all hotels were booked out for the night. Stayed 1 night with my best-friend Tara and so glad we did stay here! The bedrooms were stylish, clean, modern and the bed was very comfortable. Margret the owner was very lovely as well as her cute dogs! I would definitely recommend staying here! Great prices for a great stay:)

Best of the best accommodation in Alice. Excellent Studio Villa, spotless, absolute comfort, private, tastefully appointed and lovingly tended by warm gracious hosts. Very highly recommended to all.

Lovely people who own this place, they make it really special to stay there.you have your own laundry, good coffee, pool, quiet, spacious! Perfect location!

We loved our stay here, so much we stayed again the last night we were in Alice springs. We really enjoyed staying in their home out in the private villa. We were able to do laundry, play with the pups and swim in the pool. Felt like we were home and it was a very comfortable place. Highly recommended, especially if you enjoy the B&B experience.

This B&B was a good alternative to the usual 'hotel' experience. The owners gave us lots of privacy and the self contained villa is located seperate to the house, with its own private entrance. Lovely gardens / pool and entertaining area. You can tell the owners have put alot of thought into the build and finish of the room. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a space to call their own on their trip to Alice Springs.
