Make sure you try out the muffins, they were delicious and different everyday. The toasted sandwiches/paninis are worth a try. The Korean chicken burger was delicious. There is no WiFi here though. Definitely a great place to sit and relax.

Great for breakfast. Very welcoming place with a good menu choices. They close around 2pm so don't leave it too late in the day to visit!

My friend and I went for morning tea a week ago. We’d been on Norfolk Island for a week. We ordered a coffee and pot of tea. We waited 20 minutes and then I went to ask the sullen barista if our order was coming and he said it was lost. No apology and we waited and 10 minutes to get our order, the coffee was awful. Not happy.

Never goes wrong with their coffees! Love their variety of options for brunch. Seatings are available indoors & outdoors. Very recommended!

Visited Olive for both lunch and breakfast. Sadly we only found out that the main ingredient for our order was not available until 10 minutes after we placed our order. The replacement ingredient was okay, but it seemed like there could have been a lot more communication between the kitchen and the counter. They were literally metres apart. Breakfast a few days later was well done, as per the recommendation from previous guests. Olive is a refreshing dining destination on Norfolk Island that seems to be coping with most of the challenges associated with the unreliable delivery of ingredients from Australia and New Zealand.

This was the low point of my Norfolk experience. On an otherwise friendly island, the cafe seemed unhappy to be serving customers and our waiter just walked away as we asked for some cutlery when our meal arrived. Unnecessarily unfriendly. Food was ok but you can do better elsewhere.

Of all cafes on Norfolk Island, this one is always the busiest. I suspect that whilst locals do visit, it is dominated by visitors most of the time.

There is a reason that it is always busy - the food and beverages are generally of very high quality and the staff are very friendly. I'm generally there once per day when visiting Norfolk.

Great place for vegan options. Delicious falafel wrap and roast veggie salad is amazing (tip: add falafel). Great toy corner to keep the toddler occupied while we enjoy our lunch. Good coffee too.

Probably the pick of the islands Cafe for me, would have been 5 stars but the breakfast we had on the last day was not all hot. The coffee is great nice and strong, the food was good and very decently priced.

I went to the Olive couple of times to get a coffee which was excellent. It was busy but had an efficient service. Their menu seems to be interesting with variety of food but didn't get a chance to try any. The Olive appears to be one of the best coffee shops on the island and was recommended by few locals.

My wife and I have just spent a week on Norfolk & a fellow tourist told us that if we wanted the best coffee ever then visit The Olive. We did (a number of times like every day! And Wow their coffee is not only Delicious but consistently so. They also make a number of inexpensive soups that are packed with vegies & meats & served with a great Sour Dough. Regardless of your choice you will be served by a bunch of very friendly, smiling local girls. Go there!

Coffee was not great tasting and overpriced, nice place to look at but if you want a good coffee keep looking up the St closer to the middle of town.
