I asked for budget accomadation with package inclusions and option of a hire car. Gregg did an excellent job of putting this together and included a room upgrade, because of long stay, 23 days, January 2023.   At the time, I thought this unnecessary, but I got the best room suitable for my stay. It was comfortable and private with a view over looking the valley to the ocean and Phillip Island. A big bonus for me was it had a spa tub, and the location was very peaceful. The pool was nice and clean. The hotel is within walking distance to the village and less than 10 mins drive to Kingston pier and Emily bay.   I could see the sunrise and set from the front porch. The staff were friendly and ready to assist when ever approached and I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the special touch within my amazing picnic lunch basket.a little note "the most beautiful curve on a woman's body is her smile". Thank you, to all at Seaview Hotel.

Stayed here for three nights, the cheapest I could find on Norfolk Island but that's not saying much.

There's a cool view from the hotel, a kitchen which is open from 12-2 and 6-8 that serves all close to Burnt Pine with shops and sort being no more than a 15 minute walk away.

Airport pick-up is offered as are tours of the island, although I opted to decline the latter so I can not offer a verdict there.

Seaview does its job and I would have no issues staying here again.

Nice view but everything else is terrible. Unbelievably bad room, very old and run down, tiny bathroom, no air-conditioning, very small, smells like insecticide. Noisy! Hot! Don't stay here

Our family spent Christmas at Seaview and we were totally happy with the location and service provided. The Christmas tree in the cottage for the children was special as was the wonderful Christmas Dinner provided by the very attentive restaurant and bar staff. It was very convenient having two cottages to spend our time.

The view was second to none but the accommodation under the roof was not even 2 stars and the breakfast a joke. Simon was not accommodating and it took four days before we got hot water. I do understand we have budget options but this is really budget. There were others less fortunate than us where they only had a garden/car Parkview so I suppose we were lucky.
Finally be clear if you stay here under the main roof its budget, small rooms and lacking ventilation.

Best view and position in Norfolk Island and the traditional Norfolk Island architecture is stunning. Greg is an amazing host who arranges hire cars or any tours you require and has the best knowledge. Lovely clean updated rooms with most comfortable beds. Lovely large breakfast room with beautiful verandah overlooking Norfolk Pine green pastures and sea with Phillip Island, alongside lovely pool area and beautiful gardens. If you need space, this is the place to stay. Thought and taste has gone into this hotel. And a great wine shop at best prices too.

We had a fabulous stay at Seaview. Greg was a fabulous host. Our apartment was neat and clean with the most incredible view out across to Philip Island. A perfect location for us as we explored the Island by bike. Highly recommend!

Convenient location with comfortable rooms, great views and efficient friendly service made for a comfortable stay. The restaurant had not re-opened after Covid closures, but an excellent lunch on our last day held promise of great meals at the accommodation.

Seaview is one of the best accommodation options on beautiful Norfolk Island being one of the few venues that actually does offer sea views (and a great view straight across to Phillip Island). Close to the airport and Burnt Pine "downtown" commercial district. Rooms are basic but comfortable with a good sized bed, extra blankets, TV, wi-fi and clean ensuite. There is also private cottages which are separate from the motel-style rooms. It is also very well priced for what is offered - under $100 per night which includes daily continental breakfast, half-day island tour with Pinetree Tours and guest laundry. Onsite also are an in ground swimming pool and restaurant (not running dinners durihng my stay but about to re-open for 3 meals per day as at July 2022) and one of only two alcohol outlets on Norfolk Island. Manager Simon was very accomodating, always up for a chat and offered me some snorkelling gear when I needed it.

The staff are fantastic and couldn't be more helpful. The rooms are starting to be renovated so it will only get better. It is an easy walk to the centre of town and the Best of Norfolk package is amazing. So much is organised for you, all meals, tours, special dinners and events including a hire car. We will definately be back more than once.

We just spent a week at the Seaview and can’t speak too highly of our experience there. Larry, Gregg & Kath were all wonderful, as was the blonde lady (I’m sorry I forgot your name - Tracey?) Thanks to the chef for looking after my gluten-free needs. The cottage was lovely, very clean, with great views. Nothing was too much trouble and we found all our inclusions to be very generous. We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent service from all staff, they were all very helpfull, Having the breakfast to start the day was great. We had all the tours and MEALS included in our deal and was just wonderful. Nothing to worry about, and having lunch and dinner at different locations was a great way to see different venues. We had a fishing trip while we were there and it was unbelievable. HEAPS OF FISH.
We will be going back to Seaview again next year, 5 STARS to them.

First the view of the Island across to the Ocean is worth the stay along. Apart from that the rooms were comfortable, clean and just right for an Island visit. The staff were amazing, helping with restaurant bookings, sight seeing suggestions and just general friendliness. They make you feel like a part of the family. The location is just out of town so it's close to get in and around but keeps its privacy as well. WiFi is spotty but that is part of Norfolk's charm.

Getting a bit long in the tooth, room quality is so so. Could do more to try and stand out from the crowd.

We book a fantastic value for money package of flights and accomodation for a family holiday, 5 of us including 2 grand parents through Seaview, we LOVED it! They were kind enough to give us a free upgrade to the cottages for the grand parents, totally unexpected but worked out Awesome! Liz in reception was super helpful, even despite her broken arm from an injury that happened during our stay, super woman! Everyone on the Island was AMAZING! The Island is a paradise, it is extremely relaxed, the green rolling hills and iconic pine trees all over the horizon, it is super safe (just mind your step near the steep ledges) with no bugs or snakes or anything dangerous, the people very friendly and extremely polite. The Tours were great, the history here both shocking and inspiring. The food absolutely delightful! Make sure you do the Hilli Goat Tour and the Fish Fry for some authentic local food and traditional dishes. The Cottages at Seaview were excellent, comfortable, clean, great views, new furniture, comfortable bed, very functional, overall an excellent value place to stay. Also it is an easy walk into town for cafes, restaurants and galleries and shops. Rabbits bike shop had the best coffee. We loved the RSL for a good budget meal but we tried nearly all the restaurants and the food was terrific. We also had the car hire as part of the package and that was awesome, plus the tours, we got to see and experience everything. THEN due to COVID our Air New Zealand flights were cancelled unexpectedly due to Australian Government travel regulations, no fault of Air New Zealand and Seaview but the way Greg and Liz handled the situation was above and beyond, I’m talking exceptional, they did everything they possibly could to assist and support us. Instead of 7 nights we had 13, and kept saying what a great place to get stuck. Seriously we had a great time and Seaview, their services and support made it all possible. So grateful Seaview, exceptional experience, from Justin, Nicole and Joy, we will be back THANK YOU
