Channers On Norfolk

We have been home just over a week now after spending 7 most enjoyable days on Norfolk Island and staying at Channers on Norfolk.
Kerri-Ann and Steve were fantastic hosts, always willing to provide helpful advice and nothing was too much trouble for them. (Kerri-Ann was able to quickly get us going again after I’d left the car lights on when rushing to get out of the rain and flattened the battery!) You can tell that they take a lot of pride in making your stay an enjoyable experience.
Our apartment was perfect, very clean and spacious (much bigger than we expected!) and came with everything you needed to enjoy a relaxing holiday. We were even welcomed with a freshly baked Coconut cake! Having facilities such as the Smart TV, Netflix, WIFI, Alexa, a mobile phone for local emergencies was beneficial. (I bought my own Alexa when we got home!). We also loved Mrs Chooky and her chicks.
We appreciated that when we had booked tours with Baunty Tours, we were collected from and returned to the front gate of Channers.
Our included car hire was very handy and efficient. We explored the whole island in it and it still only took 20 litres to refill it at the end of the week! An added bonus was that you can just leave it (with the keys inside) at the Airport when you fly out. Such great service!
We loved the whole experience and highly recommend Channers on Norfolk if you are thinking about visiting Norfolk Island.

Steve and Kerri-Ann excellent hosts. We stayed in apartment 7 which I would rate 11 out 10. We did not want for anything. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts. Thankyou for a memorable stay. Will return again.

Arrived home last night after spending 7 wonderful days on Norfolk at Channers. I missed waking up this morning to the little chickens peeping at the front door for some food. Steve and Kerri-Ann were wonderful hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Our apartment had everything we needed for a perfect stay. It definitely felt like a home away from home. It was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our arrival Coconut cake (until the ants got it, haha!). Although the weather was not kind to us, it didn’t deter us from doing anything. There is so much beauty and history on Norfolk. We can’t wait to come back and next time it will definitely be for longer than a week. Thanks Steve and Kerri-Ann for making our stay so enjoyable. What a lovely place to stay. Rooms are generous, the welcome is warm, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Fabulous location for getting to everything and everywhere. "Town" is an easy stroll. This was a fabulous introduction to Norfolk Island.

What a wonder place to stay. We were in the 4bed/3bath house with views out to Phillip Island. Clean modern bathrooms and kitchen with comfortable beds and views out most windows to lush gardens and free range chickens a bonus. Relaxing and comfortable. Thoroughly recommend. Extras included were a car to explore the island, mobile phone if needed, home made cake on arrival, laundry facilities and our friendly hosts Steve and Kerri available if needed with any tips and advice on shopping / restaurants / sights to see etc. Thoroughly recommend. 11 out of 10 on all counts.

What a wonderful place, lovely apartment fitted out with absolutely everything you need, complete with Balinese style pavilion at the side. It is set in two acres of lovely lush tropical gardens. Also included is the use of a very nice little laundry area. Walking distance down to the town, and a short drive to the convict ruins at Kingston which is right on the beach with beautiful Emily Bay for swimming and snorkling.
They also hire out small zippy cars which are perfect for getting around as the speed limit is 40-50Km on the island.
The owners are lovely and extremely helpful and we have already recommended Channers on Norfolk to our closest friends.

All the little extras you provide for your guests were really appreciated. Alexa, phone, fully insured car, freshly baked cake, picnic basket, coffee machine, WIFI, washing facilities, friendly advice and conversation. Only a walk away from the main shopping area. We stayed at Channers in Dec. 22 and stayed with Family in the upstairs 2 bedroom apartment. What a fantastic place Channers is and Kerri-Ann and Steve were the perfect hosts. Our apartment was perfect, very clean and spacious and with everything you need to enjoy a holiday. Channers arranged everything for our stay including our airfares ex Sydney and everything was so easy to do it this way. Our included car hire was terrific and we explored the entire island. We really enjoyed our stay an recommend Channers to anyone thinking of a Norfolk Is.getaway. A fantastic place and we’ll certainly be going back.

We had the best stay at Channers. The rooms are well presented. The kitchen is large and well stocked with all the things you'd expect. The beds are in good condition. The NBN satellite internet is a great bonus. The hosts are great people.

Staying at Channers is like having a home away from home. We were met by Kerri-Ann and Steve on our arrival at Channers. We had a car for our stay and freshly baked cake from Kerri -Ann. They are truly genuine, kind people who go above and beyond for anything you need. We even had a private courtyard to utilise. Channers is peaceful and a walk into town if you please. I would highly recommend you put this property on your list of accommodation choices. Thankyou so much Kerri-Ann and Steve, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you.

Wonderful hosts, Kerry-Anne and Steve, and fantastic hospitality. The apartment was clean, well/stocked and comfortable. Appreciated the picnic set, wifi, friendly chats and lovely grounds. Would highly recommend this place.

We had a fantastic time on Norfolk Island and the accommodation was brilliant. Homely, clean, tidy with beautiful, very accommodating hosts. Everything you could ask for and more while on holidays. We loved the entire experience and highly recommend Channers on Norfolk if you are thinking about visiting.

Caring, knowledgeable & friendly hosts. They are there if you need them. A phone is in your unit to use if a problem arises, complimentary. Our unit was great, the little car zippy, locals friendly, even the cows & chickens. Location of Channers, walk to town, private gardens, BBQ, laundry. We loved our time there & I have already recommended friends, they are there now.

We were at Channers in June 2022. The accommodation was so clean, comfortable and convenient for our needs. Kerri-Ann & Steve were perfect hosts. Our rooms were well equipped with our own stocked bathrooms, heated towel racks, TV, electric blankets, huge comfortable beds. The outdoor BBQ area was perfect. The fireplace was so warm and inviting. The kitchen was so well equipped with lots of appliances and some basic food items. Alexa was very helpful to our needs, as well. I would highly recommend the house and apartments. Kerri-Ann was just a phone call away if we needed anything. I enjoyed the best week's holiday!

An exceptional place to stay - so clean, tranquil & secluded but still within walking distance to town & a few other places of interest such as the cyclorama. & park
We were fortunate enough to stay in the three bedroom Channers by the C so had plenty of room & a gorgeous sea view including Phillip Island. Enjoyed watching the antics of the hens & their chicks from the comfort of the large outdoor couches.
An added & appreciated bonus was a courtesy bus from the airport on arrival & a free tour of the island the following morning to enable us to get our bearings.
Covid threw a few spanners in the works & our original booking had to be canceled but Kerri Ann communicated regularly & kindly let us move our dates. She & Steve were engaging, kind & helpful & ready with all the advice & suggestions we needed. She even left a delicious cake & bowl of fruit for our arrival.
We appreciated the car being included in the price. With all the little extras & special touches Channers has to be the best & best value accommodation on Norfolk, a very beautiful island steeped in history which we highly recommend (& already done so to friends) We will most definitely stay at Channers next time we visit.

It was our second stay at Channers, and we will be going again. Our accommodation was well presented, clean and well stocked. Kerrie Ann and Steve are professional, friendly and exceptionally helpful. It is the best value holiday venue on the Island.

We would highly recommend Channers, the accommodation is excellent, the apartments are equipped with everything you could possibly need. The bed is so comfortable which is a real plus.
The location of the property is great, an easy stroll down to the village.
Kerri was an excellent hostess, very helpful and was always around to answer our queries. She recommended Hillies Restaurant which was great, easy stroll from the accommodation, don't miss the morning tea at Hillies.
