Zushi Barangaroo

Food was delicious but very pricey and portion sizes were definitely on the smaller side. The rolls specifically were great portion sizes. However, the octopus was pretty small for the price, and the gyozas felt more like a snack than a meal. The sashimi was delicious and fairly priced. However, staff were lovely and attentive.

Completely over ordered expecting the usual portion sizes you get elsewhere in the World. Instead, we received enough food to feed 4 people (two of us eating)

On top of this, the price was very good.

Came in specifically with a hankering for some beef tataki, and stayed for a few rounds of drinks (and an extra after we missed our ferry!). Very accommodating staff, so lovely

The Sushi was delicious and staff was very friendly. Staff was also very coporative with a Preschool child. I loved the Edamame and Sashimi+Sushi platters. Would definately go there again. Zushi is definately my first choice in Darling Harbour.

Absolutely superb meal and the staff were so friendly. I came here for a work function and they provided a fantastic vegetarian option for the degustation menu as well. They were very accommodating and although I chose vegetarian (I do eat shellfish and white meat), they even said they would be happy to cater to specific dietary requirements like that which was really kind of them. Regardless, the vegetarian menu was fantastic and it felt on par with the non-veg options. Their agedashi tofu and miso eggplant were absolute standouts to me. I couldn't rave about them more (honestly some of the best service I've received), next time I come to Sydney, I will be back for sure!

I wanted to give Zushi 5 stars, but I feel their set menu wasn’t as good as it could have been. Don’t get me wrong, the quality of the ingredients were amazing but I found the dishes themselves quite basic (fried chicken, honey prawns + more). I wasn’t blown away by anything, however we did order an additional dish, the wagyu rolls, and that was delicious and by far our favourite. The service was a little clunky and slow but I could tell the waiter was new so no major issue there. Would I come back? Yes, but only for sushi and cocktails.

Delicious set banquet that allows you to explore the various dishes japanese cuisine has to offer. From the sushi, tempura and karage chicken to the delicious duck! If you're wish to spoil yourself with water views and the night life scene then stop by Zushi.

Customer service team were very attentive to our groups drink requests and general questions we had to cater to different dietary requirements.

Visited for lunch yesterday and was blown away by the service and the food! We are on holidays from Qld and can’t remember the last time we left a restaurant so happy, if ever!
Staff were extremely attentive and the $77 pp taster was beyond expectations! Highly highly recommend to anyone looking for something new to try! Will return next time we are in Sydney! Thank you again!

Really high quality food coupled with a good atmosphere, loved dining here and have been back many times.

Classic japanese menu has good variety of sashimi and sushi options and is fresh and well presented. There are also some interesting sides and main dishes all tasty. Not a place for extended dining as seating comfort level is average.

Contemporary Japanese cuisine that's yummy. Good size servings. Service from wait staff is a bit patchy, forgot drink orders etc. Sitting inside is very noisy. Overall a good experience, and would go again. Order the banquet!

OMG! It's so good that deserves a Michelin star. I tried the 99pp option with many different dishes, including wagyu beef. It's a must have.

Nice place in a good location. Price was alright on the expensive side. Sashimi was great but was a bit disappointed in the roll and salad I got. Lacked flavour in both dishes.

Very polite & helpful staff. It’s great to see a restaurant offering a very good selection of vegan options. The Teriyaki Vegetable bowl is delicious. Well worth a visit.

Food was brilliant, we enjoyed the banquet. Rated the entrees more than the main dishes. Their sushi is next level and loved the mushrooms with the main and wagyu.
Staff were a bit pushy to get us out which I didn't appreciate bit understand closing times.

Awesome food, ambiance and service. We had a newborn with us and were quite nervous about dining in, but the staff were very accomodating and friendly. Food was exceptional. Sashimi was top quality. Wagyu rolls and tataki were a must have and the tartare had an excellent synergy of flavour and texture. Will definitely be back.

Service and location were great, right in front of the water. Food was decent but not the greatest.
