Zoom Removalists Sydney

Have used Zoom about 4 times now and each time the guys are polite, quick and efficient. Competitively priced and I have received a loyalty discount. Pleasure to deal with and happy to continue using Zoom and referring to friends and family.

We were alerted the night before our move of an issue with our pickup. Instead of our set time, we were pushed back a few hours due to an unforeseen issue. Obviously this was not ideal because of prior arrangements made with our new building. However, I am STILL rating Zoom Removalists as 5 stars. Why? Because Moey and his guys did such a wonderful job handling and transporting our things. Plus they were just all-around nice guys. I really appreciated the respect with which they treated our belongings. And because of the initial issue, Zoom amended the initial quote. At the end of the day, I really cannot complain about their service and would use them again.

My fiancé I booked with Zoom and we had the best experience with our removalists, Frank and Chris. They went above and beyond to make sure that we had the best moving experience possible, they were really friendly, extremely fast - and most importantly careful and respectful with our things. They even did two stops for us, so we could pick up a couch from a second location. Frank and Chris, thank you for making the experience a great one. Would recommend these two to anyone looking for fast and careful movers. Also both lovely blokes.

Frank and Chris were two of the most professional, quick, careful removalists we’ve ever had. They ensured our items were well taken care of, and manoeuvred difficult and large furniture through small spaces without complaint. The two guys that came to move everything did a phenominal job - one end they had a lift but at the other end they windy stairs to maneuver everything and a pokey apartment to work with. Highly recommend them!

Paid for 3 men 10-12 tonne truck. Only positive is that they got the job done without scratching the walls.
On the downside, they were:
-Slowest removalists we've experienced (cruising around milking time chatting half the time)
->Took over 5 and a half hours for a 2-3 bedroom house move within the same suburb?
-Quite expensive (Hourly rate looks enticing until you get hit with all these hidden costs such as wrapping)
Probably wouldn't use these guys again or if any, would be a last resort.

We hired Zoom Removalists because the prices were great but we didn’t expect to also get two of the nicest, most professional movers in Frank and Chris. See if you can ask for them specifically!

Moving day is a stressful day already, but somehow Zoom Removals made the day even worse.

I had movers booked for 7.30am, but 8.15am no one had turned up so I called the 24/7 number with no pick up. I waited another 5 minutes and called again to have someone pick up. They said one of the movers had a 'medical' reason as to why he couldn't work that day.

I should not have to call the company and hour after they are scheduled to come to be told this.

I was told movers would now come at 12pm. This has totally written off my day completely.

12pm rolls around and I call again to make sure the movers are going to be on time. I am told another half an hour. 12.40 rolls around and they have still not arrived, I call again and the actual movers call me back (have been speaking to people in the office up until this point) and say they just finished their job in Kings Cross and will be another half an hour.

When the movers do show up at 1.20pm - SIX hours after my scheduled arrival time - they guys seem to start quick but start to slow down. At my drop off location the guys were actually walking so slow back to truck. I couldn't believe how slow they were walking. It was so put on so they could drag out those per half hours I was paying for.

This day cost me $440 and took 4 hours for a small one bedroom apartment where everything was packed and ready to go.

I will never use Zoom again and I suggest you don't either unless you want your arrival times lied about and for slow staff.

Don't be fooled by reviews from fake aliases and relatives. You can tell from the generic comments that they just post them themselves. I used them and the service was rubbish. I moved all the small items from my tiny unit myself in boxes and only had a few large items that I asked them to move.
Their hourly rate is higher than most and they were moving incredibly slowly to choke out the time. It took 5 hours for 2 guys to move a few items a couple of blocks away. I called within the first 30 minutes to complain and several times after that. They brushed me off and just said I was stressed.
They removalists refused to unload the truck at my new place unless I paid the full amount which is illegal!
The few items they actually moved were left unfinished on the floor eg; the drawers not put back in the TV unit.
