Zokoko reviews
14Amazing coffee, heavenly brownies and fantabulous staff. The person serving us took time to customise the tea for my daughter and the other one was so lovely to offer marshmallows to her when she accidentally knocked over a plate. It was my first time here today and I had a great time. Highly recommended! ️️️️ Thank you!
Best chocolate in Sydney and well worth the drive. Hot chocolates and chocolate crackles are amazing!
Apart from the acute parking problem the cafe as such is very good having excellent quality products. For a better experience parking must be improved.
Evan Stanford, are you sure you weren't the problem? I've been going to Zokoko for years and never had a problem. If you'd looked, you would have seen that orders are done in sequence - takeaway lids or saucers are in line across the counter in the sequence that the orders were placed. Re coffee taken to the wrong table, these things happen (especially as the girl delivering the coffee wouldn't have been the barista) but it's not something that would cause a normal person to get their knickers in a twist about.
Re the review by Ashlene below, I was there. The lady talking to staff wasn’t talking to one of the baristas, she was talking to the pastry cook.
There were a lot of orders lined up on the bar hence the longer than normal wait times.
We have coffee there every day (except Sunday). Oh, I was the old bloke to whom she refers and I guess I'm one of their "wanky pretentious idiots".
2016. If you like good tasting coffee, try a double shot. Its really smooth and delicious. No burnt aftertaste.
Nov. 2022 Since i am now forced on a caffeine free, tried their de-caffe beans in my machine. Great crema, rich chocolate flavoured coffee and deep mellow aftertaste. Beautiful, still.
I ordered a stack of all sorts of chocolates including drinking chocolate for my husband for our wedding anniversary. They were absolutely delicious! Thank you so much x
Exceptional coffee and service
The best coffee - every time. Delicious chocolates and treats and wonderful staff. Super efficient, especially when everyone is there to get their morning coffee! Leigh takes such pride in making the best coffees but also her customer service is excellent. She and all the team members work so well to create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere no matter how busy they are or fussy the coffee order is. =)
It's always good and the staff are always wonderful and friendly regardless of how busy it is.
You guys have a very good demographic
We stopped by to grab a coffee on the way to our destination
And the coffee was on-the-spot and the sweets were so yummy
Really rude, will definitely not come back. Do not sit or your order will take forever. Keep on taking take away orders and serving them before us. Then gave my order to another table, Barista rather than being apologetic was just being argumentative! WHAT A JOKE!
This place has got it right! I have been dropping in here for the past few days on my way to work and I can not fault this establishment. I’m welcomed with a happy smile every time and the coffee is amazing! Will be taking the family here to try the treats in the cabinet, they look fantastic! Highly recommend!
All of the pralines are delicious. What's best will depend only on your preference. For me, the passionfruit waas the best, followed by Raspberry, Pineapple and Blood Orange.
Of the bars, the 70% Orange and Anise Myrtle was a standout. Somewhat remiscent of Mayan or Aztec style chocolate. The 40% Sea Salt and Tasmanian Pepperberry was also amazing. I prefer dark chocolate, but the pepperberry added another level to chocolate and sea salt, which is already a great combination. The 70% Mbingu single origin was also worth getting. So smooth and somewhat fruity.
If I could make a suggestion, it would be to do a chilli chocolate. Chilli and chocolate is such an underrated combination.
Definitely worth stopping in and buying some chocolate here.
Staff 5 chocolate 5 but hours short monday to wed close 2pm.saturday short close and parking bit tricky refer their website
Great stop for a snack, coffee and sweet treat. They are chocolate makers and do it well. The chocolate crackle is a must try and they have milk and dark options. Children of the 70s and 80s will be nostalgic heaven. The coffee is also perfect. A great place to visit on world chocolate day.
