Food is usually great.
Service. Meh.
I know I'm starting to sound old, but I don't know what it is with the new generation in the service industry. Utterly useless, barely know what's going on half the time. Don't keep track of their customers at all. Second time in a row i have given my order number stood right in front of the service area and watched them put my order into the warmer, not sure its mine. I shouldn't have to do their job a well as mine. This isn't just here.

Have had good meals here in the past and hoping for another. Sadly tonight was a fail.
Had a mix of salads, chicken, lamb to share with the family. Salad/chips/chicken was ok but the star of the meal - the lamb was awful.
By far the worst lamb I’ve had in a while. Overcooked, mainly fat and grizzle.ruined the rest of the meal… from a Greek restaurant!

The portion was not equal and same as the order images. The food was not enough to share. This was the first experience and surely the last. Not recommended.

Aegean pita with chips staff were lovely and helpful with their suggestions, definitely coming back here!

Pros
1. Tasty and reasonably priced food.
2. Accessible location

Cons
1. Cleanliness and hygiene. Had to clean our own table. Hand-washing corner didn't have soap.
2. Order mix-up. They should probably rename the hermes or hades, as they can sound similar in a busy environment. Our order was mixed up. They then brought our wrong order 3 times, despite us telling them.
3. Crowd control. There didn't appear to be anyone keeping tabs on who was waiting for seating, as we had one person just skip the whole line and sit down.

TLDR: It was OK.

Amazing food, the limited interaction we did have with staff was great, just limited. Atmosphere loud due to restaurant next door otherwise nice. Warm, clean seating available

To less for 22 dollars, "spartan bowl " was like a 1/7 portion of pre marinaded chicken from ALDI and super small salad and the smoky eggplant dip was tasteless.
So disappointed

Wraps are super tasty and healthy options also available loke low carb wraps.their potato fries are far better than any mcdnlds or kfc. Try their tzimmcky pita wrap in chicken. Beer available too.

Unexpected service we ordered four souvla lamb shoulder, four Deps and one Hermes pita but souvla wasn't fresh and it seem to be prepared before sorry guys but zeus branch located in Hamilton served me with good service

Food is great but service was poor. My husband and I received our full meals but other family members only received their fries. I had to ask 3 different waitstaff members for the rest of our order as it seemed to be forgotten. By the time it got sorted my husband and I had eaten our food. We opted to take away the other food when it finally arrived

Meals were cold and the drinks were hot.
Waited an additional 25 minutes past the advised delivery time for the food to arrive (DoorDash).
Small meal sizes for the price, poor value for money.

Would not recommend.

Edit: Went back today 12/10/22 and it was good to see that Zeus was almost back to its old self. Proper hand soap at the stations and the Stavros wrap was cooked really well. I love a company that listens to feedback and thus I'm changing my review from 3 to 5 stars.

I gave Zeus the benefit of the doubt after a bad experience last month and went on my own for lunch today. My Stavros Stravrou arrived cold with the halloumi barely cooked. My chips arrived 10 minutes after my meal. As this was a meal for one, you'd expect both to be delivered at the same time and the main food cooked properly or even warm.

They also have no hand soap for the hand wash station. I mentioned this several months ago and the employees said they had just run out and would get some more. I've been twice since and they still haven't replaced the hand soap. Hand sanitiser and water is not a replacement for soap at a hand washing station. 3 months without replacement is another sign that the attention to detail is being missed.

Really disappointed as when Zeus first opened it was one of my favourite eateries, the quality and service has just dropped off drastically since.

Super impressed with Bailey and the team and Zeus. After a disappointing experience with menu log not delivering Bailey organised the delivery and couldn’t be more accommodating!

Wow, an awesome place to eat with and amazing vibe and super awesome customer service!

The food was quite nice but the place was dirty. The tables hadn’t been wiped down after the previous customers and we couldn’t find a clean high chair to put our baby in…several were stacked on top of each other and all had old food on them…. Very worrying especially in Covid times. Made me wonder how clean the kitchen was…

When we we're having a late lunch on a Monday, at Zeus' in Kotara, there was only kids (teenagers) there; serving and cooking. Bad service, not even a smile.no interaction from staff at all. Bad experience!

You need to put a sign letting customers know that there will be a surcharge for using card or at least have it appear on the total before the customer taps. It is not ok for it to appear later on after we have already tapped. I had cash I would’ve paid with cash if I had known. It’s not about the amount. It’s about the principle. Deceiving your customers is not ok.

Heavily messed up my order after i reiterated multiple times and has hidden fees on eftpos

Food is excellent but trying to order pickups in the evening is next to impossible. Their phones been "broken" for months and the wpp says they're closed super early when they're not preventing ordering. Come on guys, you must be losing heaps of business over this.
