Young actors assembly has helped me open up and become more confident. I am so grateful for all the people I have met at YAA, and especially all the lessons I learnt in acting but also lessons that helped my every day life. I think I’ve grown so much as an actor and that’s thanks to YAA and the coaches! I definitely recommend!

I cant thank you all enough for welcoming me like you have into the YAA family. I was so nervous before my first YAA class - being so new to both Sydney & acting. But the patient and open hearts I’ve been received with, are nothing short of special.
Thank you David, and thank you Adam.
Looking forward to continuing to learn & grow at YAA!

My daughter has been with YAA for a year and has had the best time! Even in lockdown, the classes were engaging and something she looked forward to. She has made some great friends and learnt so much!

We are so lucky to have a young actors training program like this in Australia for serious and professional young actors committed to learning their craft. My daughter has not only excelled as an actress at YAA but has found and connected with an incredible group of talented, compassionate, inspiring and likeminded young people who she now calls her closest friends. She's been offered the opportunity to make short films, be a part of plays and meet industry thought leaders from here and around the world at the top of their game who guide, mentor and provide practical industry advice. It's been a game-changer for my daughter and is providing a solid foundation for her to spring from. Thank you so much, David and your team. You have created a very safe and special place for young people to learn and grow.:)

David and his incredible team of creatives strive to deliver a course like no other! Their commitment and structured approach to learning is such a high standard, which allows the students to feel supported and so much more knowledgeable of their craft. It is a safe environment to explore vulnerability, which is a major part of the acting experience. I'm so proud to be a part of Young Actors Assembly and hope that others can enjoy the same opportunity!

My son has absolutely loved being at YAA this year. He has learnt so much and has felt a valued member of the group. It is clear from the way he speaks that each student is respected as a performer regardless of their individual successes. There is no competition, each young actor is on their own journey. They encourage and support each other with genuine regard. This is only possible with the guidance and teaching of David and Mitch who are not only developing fine actors but wonderful humans.

David has a dream, and he follows it through. At Young Actors Assembly David, Mitch and their team take Acting seriously. They have undertaken the responsibility to teach all aspects of the industry, so that their young actors are knowledgable, experienced and prepared to move forward in their craft. YAA is a goldmine of discovery for your budding young actors.

My daughter joined YAA at the start of this year and she has learned more in one year with David and Mitch then she did in all her previous years at a prominent acting school put together. They care about each and every student and help foster their confidence and develop their strengths. I would highly recommend YAA to anyone.

David and his co-passionate team of coaches/mentors give their all to equipping the future Australian stars with the attributes necessary for a successful and balanced life all around and not just the showbiz life! What a year 2019 has been for my daughter learning so much through YAA and filmng her first short movie. Looking forward to seeing her development with YAA in 2020!

My son came to YAA as a creative, curious actor who had spent several years at another performing arts centre where he had shared amazing experiences and successes with passionate people. Over time, his energy levels went down and the "light" started to fade a little.
Then he started at YAA.
YAA is 100% next level. From the very first day my son arrived home positively aglow and re-energised.
YAA truly is an ASSEMBLY, a collective of intense passion, drive and capability. They embrace and encourage the whole person - heart, mind & soul. This is beyond critical for people in this wonderful, crazy, challenging world of creative arts. They see and celebrate each individual for who they truly are and lovingly guide them to where they want to be. But "love" should not be confused with "fluff". No doubt these kids are challenged and stretched to grow to be the absolute best they can be.and then to be even better. I'm a grateful parent & a YAA fan.

I have never been so sure of my direction in life since working at the young actors assembly. The coaches and structure has given me the power to realise that acting, film making, writing and producing goes hand in hand with my direction. I'm so thankful that I found young actors assembly, it's not easy and I’ve come up against obstacles, but just as every teacher says…. The obstacle is the way.

Acting has always been the one thing in my heart I knew I wanted to further and improve. Since attending The Young Actors Assembly I have learnt and gained skills I never knew possible. I have not only improved as an actor but I have changed as a person. Through training and practicing I have never been so sure of what I’ve wanted to do as a career. Thanks to young actors assembly I have gained more confidence and potential I never knew possible. My teacher David Cuthbertson has changed my life and made me a better actor and continues to challenge me and make me work harder each and every day.

During my time jumping from acting class to acting class I have encountered many teachers who have blatantly taught for the sake of it. However, since I have been welcomed with open arms into Young Actors Assemby I have met so many truthful, passionate and hardworking people. I have been so inspired by every single student and teacher, I am finding myself as a young woman in the industry with the help of my coaches at YAA.
