I have been practicing yoga on and off for years at different studios. After meeting Krystle 2 years ago I haven’t looked at another studio and now practicing on a regular basis. Her teaching style is very unique. I haven’t been to a yoga studio that has taught the same way. Krystle and all the teachers in the studio have a way of making you feel comfortable, whatever stage you’re in. I’ve never felt embarrassed if I couldn’t manage a pose. They provide options for every individual. I am also now in a different stage in my life (pregnancy) and I feel very safe in Krystle’s hands. As the months go by she makes sure to provide modifications to suit changes throughout pregnancy in every class I attend. The classes are also smaller than other yoga studios I’ve attended which means you will be very looked after in making sure form is correct and if you require modifications for your needs. I highly recommend Krystle and her team if you are thinking of starting yoga or looking for a different studio.

I have been practising yoga for about 2 years now as a mean to get fit as I didn't enjoy running or circuit training. I have encountered different styles of teaching under various environments e.g. Gym yoga classes, hot yoga studios, even studios where you practised in a dark room. I found Yoga In Motion after trialling multiple studios near where I lived and as soon as I attended the first class I knew it was the right fit for me. The classes are not overcrowded and each class is more like a workshop as opposed to going through tedious routines. All the instructors I have worked with pay great attention to your personal strengths and weaknesses in their process of tailoring the class to improve your practice. In the short 6 months I have been with the studio I feel that I have improved on my alignment and am on my way to reach my goal. Highly recommend if you also want a little extra push to improve your practice.
Thank you Krystle, Maddie & Steph! =)

My search for the right yoga spot ended here. I highly recommend Yoga in Motion for all levels of practice since the instructors are not only experienced yogis, but also have a great deal of knowledge in physiology.

A great space and practice for starting the day. All the instructors are attentive and will tailor your practice to help you extend and challenge yourself.

It's not often that I take the time to write a review.

I only do so when either:
- the place is really bad and I want to warn others
- or the place is really good - and I'd like to encourage other people to try them out

Yoga-in-Motion falls into the second category - it's great!

All of the instructors are excellent

There are three levels of classes, so whether you're just starting out or whether you're looking to challenge yourself, there are classes for you.

The first 2 weeks is FREE.so you can try before you buy.

Yoga-in-Motion is a great place to do yoga, and there is a nice coffee shop downstairs to reward yourself afterwards.

Fell in love with yoga at Yoga in Motion doing a beginners course and I know I will be practicing it for the rest of my life. All teachers lead by Krystle are welcoming and give clear easy to follow instructions. Ive turned from extremely inflexible with back pain to being very aware of my own body and how its feeling.
All classes are the perfect amount of challenging to grow with different options to take in each class. Perfect studio to start out and grow!

Very welcoming young lady for my first session on Sunday morning. She also offered up some good suggestions, after discussing past injuries/health concerns. Nice and cosy space.

I completed a two week complimentary trial at Yoga in Motion at the beginning of the year and absolutely loved it. The instructors are all lovely and very helpful. They listened and provided modifications for specific injuries and were very welcoming for complete beginners.

I really enjoyed the calm of the Level 1 Flows and Meditations but equally enjoyed the more vigorous Level 2 Barre Classes which are faster and incorporate more repetitious exercise. Yoga in Motion is a lovely bright studio and perfectly situated in Lane Cove. I will be returning this year as a member to relieve stress and increase strength.

I came to Sydney on a work term and I felt I needed some structured exercise classes a few times week and I stumbled across Yoga in Motion. I have never been someone who practiced yoga and let alone enjoyed it, but can truly say I have been changed in the last month! I have taken classes mostly with Stephanie and she has been incredibly patient and supportive as I have experimented and became more confident in my practice. I highly recommend this studio for people of any level -as they have classes for people who are fresh into yoga, and those highly experienced yogi's who have been at it for year. If want to be taught by experienced and caring teachers, then this is your studio!

If you are looking for awesome yoga in Lane Cove then look no further as Yoga in Motion is without doubt the best. I came from a background of many years practice and the good fortune of having started with a master teacher. I wanted outstanding teacher (s), effective yoga, an opportunity for very regular practice. I tried all the local studios. At Yoga in Motion I found something very special. There is much that is good about Yoga in Motion (beautiful space, caring welcoming team, highly trained teachers) but the differentiating quality that is perhaps most rare and valuable is Krystle’s (and her teachers) real interest and focus on individuals. I can’t stress enough how unique this is or how cleverly applied. Krystle quietly and respectfully notices you, she thinks about you and she works to help you make the time you spend in the studio rewarding for you. So whatever your body shape, age, flexibility, strength, background or experience Krystle has a genuine desire (and the skills to deliver) to support you in your yoga journey. Then to top it all the classes are fun, varied and they are delivered in a clear, structured, safe way and if you want to be challenged you’ll receive that too. Happy days. Namaste

An empowering, welcoming and motivating space for complete beginners right up to advanced. After trying out yoga for the first time through the beginners course im now addicted and look forward to attending class every week. Shout out to our amazing teacher Madi who was friendly, knowledgable and patient and really focused on helping us get the most out of the course. So much love and care is put into each class so you have fun while building strength and flexibility. If you are putting off joining, just do it! Its a decision you will not regret.
