Yi An Chinese Restaurant Woy Woy reviews
38Went there recently think there must be a management change. Service was terrible, The food was full of Garlic tasted more like an Italian food.
We walked in at closing time and they still served us!
Awesome food, great service, much appreciated!
OMG, Yi An is the best Chinese I’ve ever had. Catered for a banquet of 35 easily, generous servings of all meals where nearly everyone took a takeaway container home with them. Spring rolls were seriously amazing. Staff were always super attentive and friendly. This may have been my first visit to Yi An but I’ve now got a new favourite Chinese Restaurant.
Our local Chinese restaurant! We love it so much, Great for eating out with friends, takeaway. Great delicious reliables dishes and reasonably priced.
Excellent food and excellent service. Held a 50th anniversary function with a banquet menu and it was extremely nice and well done. Everyone was very happy with the meals provided.
We have been getting food here since the restaurant was in umina always beautiful, it’s the best Chinese on the coast
Yi An Chinese is a great place to join family and friends for a lazy lunch of delicious Chinese cuisine. It has an extensive menu of delicious dishes to choose from. The service is friendly. Definitely recommend this restaurant
Excellent authentic Chinese cuisine, flavorsome and fresh, I was there for my aunt's birthday party of 30 people, didn't disappoint, I highly recommend
Always enjoyed our food from here and even when they're exceptionally busy the service is outstanding.
We love Yi An Chinese in Woy Woy. Great food, very good prices and friendly staff. Good layout, plenty of parking nearby, and wheelchair accessible.
Excellent food, friendly service. The banquets are great for larger groups, with something for everyone. Have not been disappointed here, and the staff were very accommodating. Chinese food is not my favourite (not a criticism of the restaurant, just a personal preference), but it was very tasty.
I love the food there! The owners and staff are all so kind and accommodating, I rate a definite 10/10! If a fan of Chinese food then this should definitely be on your visit list! Recommend the rainbow steak, favourite food tbh!
Today i had lunch here with 2 friends. The food is great. Unfortunately this restaurant is let down by its wait staff. Our surly waitress never once smiled or made us feel welcome. She cleared away our entrees which we were still eating. After we mentioned this to another staff member who was lovely and replaced the entrees, the surly waitress came back to our table to argue with us.
Another sore point was that our entrees arrived and we had just started on that course and our main course started arriving.
I also had my 65th birthday lunch here a couple of weeks prior to today and the same surly waitress started removing plates while we were still eating. One of our party had to ask for her plate back.
The food here is fabulous but the place is let down by this one particular waitress. I didnt get her name but she is an older asian lady. Unfortunately she has no PR skills whatsoever and in my opinion she lets the whole place down. One of my friends has a medical condition and cannot eat onions. We all stressed that NO onions be in the meal she ordered. The meal came out with onions. The surly waitress told us “not much onions” this was not good enough given our friend cant eat onions and we had all emphatically said so when ordering. Needless to say the meal was rejected and replaced with no good grace from the waitress. They need to get rid of her or keep her out the back.
No complaints about the food just this one waitress who spoils the whole experience, and lets the place down badly. I hope the restaurant reads this review.
This is the best Chinese Cuisine on the Peninsula.
Very clean, great choice menu, table clothes and excellent service. Best takeaway for locals too.
Family friendly and courteous staff. A must for Chinese food.
Authentic Chinese food. The salt n pepper Pork is AMAZING. Prawns, lemon fish, spring rolls all very good.
Almost every Friday afternoon for the last 3 months I have called asking for spicy tofu and they never have it available. Service staff show no form or customer service or care. I told the waitress I was Never coming back, and she said “Thankyou”. Only food worth going there for and they never have it.
Good food, friendly and efficient service. Nothing extraordinary but light years better than the other Chinese restaurants we found on the Peninsula.
Reasonably priced dishes which are sizeable portions (takeaway). Flavour of most dishes was great however the san choy bow was quite overloaded with garlic. Friendly and helpful lady on the register.
Always good quality. But when spending $130 you'd think they'd throw in some prawn crackers at least.
Great food, I'd like to say that it would be nice if they also had delivery, I know it may cost a bit more but their food is great and I'm sure most wouldn't mind paying that bit extra especially with these circumstances now
