Matt helped us to resolve our problem. He was very polite and helpful and the store service was convenient.
Had a shocker here. Tried to exchange a damaged phone case that I'd purchased from another Optus store. Sales assistant seemed helpful at first. They had the same case in stock and we checked that it was in good condition, however he couldn't remember how to process an exchange so rang his Manager. She then declares that the case has to be taken back to the other store because they can't prove that I didn't damage it. Well no-one can prove that, can they, except that I purchased it literally an hour before, just enough time to get home, open the box and find it damaged. Then she claims this falls under 'change of mind' - um no, cause I'm not changing my mind, I want the same case but an undamaged one. She then tells me it's only a 10 minute drive to the other store. So I buy a case from Optus, it's damaged and I can't return it to Optus. So much for the YES campaign. In my honest opinion, she didn't want to have to deal with the faulty case and sending that back to the supplier so tried to get me to do the running around instead. In the end they exchanged the case because I told them I wasn't leaving the store till they did. Just such poor customer service from a major corporate and what's that phone case to them? Now instead, they have a negative review.
Saw Catherine with a long list of niggling account issues. Friendly, professional and thorough, really impressed with the service.
The lady, assistant manager, didn't even care we would go next door to another operator and look at our options. She said if I called I would have got a special discount but not at the shop. It is such a joke and sad that a big (supposedly) company can not even reward a customer for loyalty. What I asked for was something simple and by changing operators I got a cheaper deal with more minutes data and international calls from next door. They need to work on their service and shouldn't be so careless for leaving customers. They will lose more people if they continue not caring!
Max very helpful with purchase of my new phone. Much better service in store now than years ago, before they moved and acquired helpful staff.
Excellent service - they sorted out what I went there for and also suggested a new plan which was cheaper with more data than I have access to now
Good store limited stock like everywhere Jayden was professional and knowledgeable as to what was available and provided alternatives to help me set up everything I needed for my phone.

I had just come from Coles as there que was quite long hoping to buy some credit for my phone at the Optus store in castle towers by a lady, if she is a manager she needs to be sacked immediately, never in my life as a customer have I been turned away because you had literally 4 people all being attended to and I quote your female staff member not sure if she was management but I Reiterate I quote "were to busy for you".
Absolutely Disgraceful customer service definitely needs to be addressed. This is not how you treat customers. Having spent over 20yrs in retail I'll be sure enough to spread the word.
This was after she was too busy to help me but had no problem helping another customer waiting after me.
Very helpful, and overall top service. I have been a customer for many years and have not been disappointed at all with Optus at Castle Towers.
There to get a new wifi modem, messed us around. Horrible personal hygiene, sniffling, no hand sanitizer was used. Slammed the wifi modem onto the table without consideration for product purchased. Talking about you in front of you quitely so you didn’t hear what they were saying. Lack of respect for the customer and the sim for the modem as the female had her nails directly onto it which may or may not have scratched the Sim itself. Allow plenty of time as it took over an hour. Don’t even deserve a one star rating, would give them zero if that was optional
Waste of time; no staff, no stock, painful jurassic procedures, when you complain they say you're screaming at them.
Went into the Optus store to remove daughter's phone from family plan and set her up with an internet plan for her new Apartment.
Great service and was in and out in 20 mins. Very Happy.
Friendly people yes but yesterday I stopped by to look at phones, this long bearded man approached me and asked me if he could help me, I noticed his voice was not healthy, he could barely speak and he told me so and yet continued talking to me, he had no mask unlike other workers there.obviously optus totally disregards government requests, if you are feeling sick do not go to work, get tested.now I am feeling sick, my throat hurts and I am feeling weak. I will find the closest place to me to be tested.
Very disgusted by the Castle Towers Optus. The staff and management were lazy and lied about handset return. We tried to return the handsets as per Optus emails and even showed them the emails earlier today, but were told we needed to show "authority to return". Ended up spending 40 minutes discussing this with Optus Customer Services and told them the total waste of time with this store. Hopefully Optus will follow up with this. Why such a non professional behaviour and making up stories about "authority to return"? We just wanted to return devices, not selling them back to you, unbelievable!
Terrible service, they don’t even answer phone calls, delete freaking phone number from website coz no one answers
