Yellow Deli reviews
66Fantastic meal! Had the Deli Rose - hot, fresh, tasty, DELICIOUS! Lovely coffee. Great atmosphere. Would definitely come again next trip!
It is absolutely disgusting that majority of these reviews are referencing the twelve tribes, and warning people this is a CULT.yet you still support the idea of unpaid woman and child labour plus abuse. Especially to those who came back after realizing and continue to go and recomend this place to others. Hopefully these people get out <3
This cafe is run by 12 Tribes cult. It has a history of highly coercive behaviour and exerts control over vulnerable people. Workers are not paid so your cheap food at their expense. Would you support a business that engaged in domestic violence? Please think and research 12 Tribes.
It's too good to be true. Their meals are like comfort food and taste homemade. The place is like a hobbit house. The place is beautiful, and it has a cute and cozy atmosphere. The wait is long, and the food is not child-friendly. It seems nice, but a cult runs it. When I went here they took a while making the food and then apologised for taking a while by giving us a slice of this cake that they ended up charging us for which is unusual because we didn't order it and they said it was a gift. The seats are kind of cramped and small. I would recommend this but it's kind of small and the fact that it's run by a cult makes it scary so I don’t know. You have to wait around 30 minutes to get in. The staff are overly nice and the staff in the kitchen is mostly women because of the whole cult thing. They do child labour and hurt kids so I wouldn't recommend going here a lot. So overall this place is great the service is bad and it's not good to support it by going to it regularly.
Perfection! Highly Recommended. Food? Superb, Service? The best, Ambiance? Very cozy. Perfect!
The dining experience was truly exceptional. From the warm and welcoming ambiance to the exquisite cuisine, every aspect exceeded our expectations. The attentive staff and impeccable service added to the overall delight. A must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable culinary journey.
Best sandwiches ever! The soup was also beautiful. Very nice service, very accomodating! Had a lovely experience
LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE! I had the tomato soup and it’s out of this world. My husband had the Reuben Sandwich. They are polite and friendly and we timed it right (5pm on a week night) so we didn’t have to queue up outside. The meal came out in a fairly timely matter, but we were happy to wait. After we paid the waitress came up and gave me two home-made biscuits to apologise for the wait though. This is my third visit to the yellow deli, and it’s been a beautiful meal every time. We travelled two days to get here and I will definitely come back again someday!
Super cosy, I had a great experience and the food was very nice, staff were a little odd though. EDIT: From the reviews I have found out this is run by a very very bad cult I have changed my review from a 5 star to a 1 star, I'd rate it lower if I could.
Very relaxing cafe. Feels like you’re in a storybook. Amazing decor with a very cozy fireplace, great menu & friendly staff. I sat in the cute mezzanine level on a table just for one & had the PBBH (Peanut Butter, Banana and Honey on a whole meal roll) from the kids menu & it was yummy. Great coffee too.
Best place ever. The moment i stepped in, i was in love with this place. Music so relaxing, staff super nice, and the place by itself is so amazing. Kind of gives me hobbit movie vibes. Favourite place for me.
Food was not good, everything is very organic in the sense its overly healthy and pretentious with some very interesting ingredients.had the mate and it was quite frankly disgusting.
The place just gives off creepy vibes, it is a cult so thats kind of understandable but going up these weird stairs into those terrifying bathrooms i thought i would never come out.
Super unsettling.
Also the servers are very odd and spaced out might be some manson style LSD thing who knows but they just look and stand like NPC's in Skyrim
What a lovely place. It's like being in a fairytale. Good for a drink but a bit pricey. Menu left us non-plussed.
Excellent service, some of the best food I've ever had. The pricing is very reasonable. Highly recommended
Absolutely love this place, it is the cutest- with the panpipe folk music playing and the cool wooden bespoke interiors, you can truly feel like you are in elfland or a LOTR movie which is a pretty special unique experience worth visiting for! The teas are also very good:) Service can be a bit slow though as it is usually rather busy and hectic inside.
I was put off by the name and almost didn't go in. But nothing else appealed so we gave it a go. The decor was enchanting and makes repeat visits worthwhile. Coffee was good but super expensive. Sorry i just find $4.50, for a long black, excessive. I can't say the menu appealed, so we left somewhat hungry but, I appreciate the cross section offered even with the obvious omission of pork products. Will go back when we get a chance and try their smoothies, just to enjoy the decor again.
Must see spot when visiting the blue mountains! Seemed like a very popular / busy spot and once we went in it was clear why.the whole inside was set like a fairy tail tavern, the food was very wholesome / home cooking style and was very very good.we had the vegetarian options and were impressed so I'm sure everything else is even more amazing!
A must visit in Blue Mountains region!
Great food and outstanding service. Thank you so much for your hospitality.
Will definitely visit again:)
Super cute place. One of a few where I finished everything on the plate (Ruben sandwich and chilli cup, though the chilli cup wasn't spicy at all) not because I was so hungry but because the food tastes too good to leave uneaten. Atmosphere and vibe are amazing. Fun to just even walk in and savour.
Wasn't overly impressed with the menu, the staff All seemed like they didn't want to be there and the one older guy watching over them.what's going on there.ay!
