Yass Valley Information Centre reviews
17Called asking for the name of a local campground that allows camping and campfires and was recommended John Oconell Park. Arrived to find fires are strictly banned by council with repeated signage and that only RV’s/self contained camper vehicles are permitted. Abit of a stitch up unfortunately…
Thank you for a very informative service. Excellent place with great displays exhibiting Yass produce and sights. A must- visit place when you hit Yass.
Yass is one of the most beautiful towns we have been to. We initially were going to stay a few days but stayed a fortnight. The history of the town and surrounds like Wee Jasper is amazing and the people are so friendly and helpful. The buildings and architecture is well worth seeing. I do think that there needs to be more promotion of Banjo Patterson and his connection to the area. Yass is a must visit and is very Highly Recommended
Excellent stopping point for a rest and info if needed. There is a park right next door with rest room facilities and a children's play equipment.
What a lovely place to visit staff approached me and talked to me very helpful very friendly was lovely to hear goodmorning can I help you.
During our visit, received Fantastic customer service offered by Karen Thank you Karen for your amazing service and offered us the required information and help to explore the beautiful Yass Valley. A great weekend gateway scape during the Spring season or almost anytime throughout the year. Thanks ️
Brought back a million memories.grandfather lived in the house across the road. Stayed there quite a lot when a little girl.parents both born in Yass.
One of the nicer information centres we have been to. The ladies were lovely and helpful. Has plenty of information, gifts, local wine and providore. We bought a local wine.
Great source of local information, but unfortunately almost all of the local attractions are only open for extremely limited hours. It is a shame because there are many tourists in the area.
Just having a pitstop at the park.
Having a nice lil picnic break before heading of to our next stop. Nice area to just take a break.
I couldn't be happier with the very high level of knowledge, understanding, friendliness and willingness to help than that which was recently delivered by the Team at Yass Valley Information Centre. They really went out of their way to assist me with my unusual request and they thoroughly lived up to my expectation of the Community spirit on display in Regional NSW. Congratulations!
Nice, clean and warm. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Plenty of local wines and various other local items for sale. Nice park and equipment for a stop over.
Vistited here recently, clean premises, friendly & helpful staff, some gift shopping available, recomended you visit if passing thru.

Great gifts available here. The girls were very helpful and lovely to talk too. It's great to see smiley faces.
