It's the worst thing I've ever seen in my life. I don't think my teeth will fall out, but they sell it as food.
You're so good

20 years ago, I often went there with my family.
I recently ordered a meal via Uber.
Jjamppong is really delicious~ May you prosper.

I haven't been here since some time before covid. The flavouring of the food was not as good as before. The place has renovated so it maybe a new owner and a new chef? The service was good. I feel that someone with a more professional taste bud to give them some constructive feedback can lead to great improvements.

Korean Chinese Cuisine, yes we will be back!

Ordered the unfamiliar and the familiar, both fresh quality ingredients, absolutely delicious.

We will be back to try the other unfamiliar dishes, its like a discovery of new familiar/unfamiliar dishes.

Super friendly staff offering excellent advice if you get lost in the menu.

They were very accommodating for us in regards to allowing us to hold two tables for a large group and also make adjustments for one of our vegetarian diets. The food here was also very nice and plentiful. There was a slight mix up with black noodles (forgot the proper name) but when we received the replacement it was much better. Overall an enjoyable experience.

The best Korean-Chinese restaurant in Sydney! The staff greeted us as soon as we came in the place. We were led to one of the empty tables near the cashier as half of the tables were full already not long after they opened for lunch service. We ordered the signature jajjangmyeon, kkanpungi and jjampong. All the foods arrived shortly after and they were all cooked fresh to order so piping hot. The crispy fried chicken in sweet and spicy sauce is delicious as the chicken pieces are tender inside and crispy on the outside. The sweet sticky and spicy sauce coated each piece beautifully and didn’t taste too overwhelming with spiciness. The black beans noodles was full of umami flavour, packed with onions, cabbage and pork in black bean sauces that has been stir fried over high heat to obtain that smoky flavours from the wok. The spicy seafood noodles soup was full of seafood (shrimp, mussels, octopus and squid) with plenty of veggies and mushrooms. The broth is well balanced and tastes quite spicy and flavourful but not too overly powerful. All three dishes were beautifully cooked and we were very satisfied after the meal (even got some leftovers for takeaway).

We had Tangsuyook, Jjangmyun and Jjampong.
Tangsuyook was too much sugar, Jjangmyun was too salty and Jjampong was overly spicy that I put my spoon down after one sip of the soup.

The pork cutlets (Tangsuyook) texture used to be crispy but this time around it’s texture was closer to rice cake. The sauce was bland.

This is good high quality food. Boyfriend and I were pleased with its rich taste, especially the black bean noodles and fried rice. Harry potter girl give good customer service.

We have ordered braised fried chicken and the noodle with fried black bean source, as recommended by our Chinese and Korean friends. The dishes are absolutely delicious! Not mention the generous portion and reasonable price. It is now one of our favourite restaurants.

Ordered fried rice & etc last Sunday, it was the worst I ever tasted.very oily and sticky. I strongly suspect frozen food defrosted using microwave.been royal customer more than 20 years but not going there anymore

A classic institution, I still think they are the best in the jjajangmyeon bizz. Like many long running restaurants, it's subject to a lot of grumblings by old regulars.

"It's not as good as it used to be"
"It all changed when the owners changed"
"There's better places in Sydney now" etc.

Personally I think people are just flavour fatigued. I've tried many jjajanmyeon spots in Sydney and this is the still the place I come back to and when I'm hankering for black bean noodles and chilli garlic chicken.

Great tasing Jajangmyeon and Sweet and Sour pork, cosy place that's away from the loud noises on the street, Service was good and relatively quick.

Seafood was not fresh and had off smell to it (frozen seafood packet from supermarket is better than what they serve). Price on the menu is different to price they charge you. Do check your bill as they often put additional stuffs you haven't ordered.

This was my family’s favourite Korean/Chinese restaurant over thirty years ago. My mum and I had lunch here today. We shared jajangmyeon and sweet and sour beef and amazingly the taste of both dishes have not changed. Our meal brought us nostalgia and we enjoyed it thoroughly.

Korean restaurant, serving Korean version of Chinese food. Spicy sweet deep fried battered prawns (Kampung sehyo) are great. Also Korean favourite Jja Jang Myeun is a favourite. (Black bean sauce noodles)

Disappointing kimchi and radishes. Noodles were soso. Don't want to go again, seriously needs to be improved.
