42Awesome donuts. I liked the Nutella slightly more than the jam. Ice latte was a good combo after a long walk.
Id nearly consider myself a donut lover before I came here, i quickly realised I knew nothing as after trying these donuts, they were hands down, the best I’ve ever had, and I don’t say this lightly!
Unfortunately the guy making the donuts made a huge amount of them and didn't box them up and give to customer. I saw there were at least 10 people waiting for cooked donuts that were sitting on the bench. Most of those customers I could here, say why are they not filling the orders. I went to the counter and asked when we would be served. A girl and the donut maker said I would get them i but other people were ahead of me. Soon as I complained he left all the donuts and took rubbish out to bin. I told him we are all still waiting and he said, I know. Then he started to box the orders, hurrah. Non of the containers were closed so one lady had 2 big boxes of donuts they basically dumped on the counter
Once again the rudeness of the worker made it so I walked away.i am sorry but the demeanor of your workers serving paying customers is everything.
Fantastic place to have a morning coffee with views.the view of light house and beyond that is mesmerising.we spend some time there relaxing with a coffee and it was worth it.not much parking place close by.but you can park up in the roadside and walk as well…
The donuts were yummy, but unfortunately the wait for coffee was 30 minutes with only a dozen or so customers around. We ordered two bagels, one came with the salmon after ordering it without and the other came with two missing ingredients and one random ingredient. We are usually pretty relaxed when it comes to hospitality as we know things take time and often people are trying their best however, this was not the case. The young brunette girl was extremely rude to us and other customers enquiring about the wait for their order. We can forgive wait times and wrong orders, we will not forgive blatant rudeness.
My search for the PERFECT cinnamon donut has ended. The perfect most delectable, most mouth watering, most addictive sugary-cinnamon donut heavenly goodness It is to be found at Yachties' Cafe. They are sublime and divine and I defy anyone to find a better cinnamon donut anywhere on the planet. They are fragrant, golden and warm with a slightly crisp outside and as the cinnamon and sugar disolves on your tongue it explodes into fresh soft warm donut with a glorious mouth-feel that has you desiring more amd more and more.stay away if you are on a health kick but indulge yourself if you want an amazing treat! Yachties Cafe delivers what other donuts dont!
This morning there were a group of us and we ordered coffee and one fresh orange juice. The coffees were handed to us after 20 minutes which is understandable as we were a large group, but my orange justice took another ten minutes to be ready. Once it was handed to me, the cup was more than half full of ice and only one third juice. I took the ice out and voice my concern to the girl at the front and she said rudely: This is how we serve our juice! Without even attempting to refill it for me. A terrible service!
They’ve pinned down the menu to a small set that they do really well. Fresh hot donuts and a coffee on the harbour is such a treat. Make sure you’ve got a hat and sunscreen because there’s not much shade out there.
Had breakfast here about 2 weeks ago with my husband. We had egg & bacon rolls and it was so good, differently be back again.
I only tried their cinnamon donuts. Donuts are delicious and they make it fresh when you order! I reckon it will be better if they use the extra fine sugar to coat the donuts.
It’s just the vibe of the place! Little hole in the wall cafe with a small menu that packs a punch. The BNE roll was cracker! Good coffee all served up promptly in a beautiful, relaxing spot overlooking the water. Great prices. Would definitely recommend. Also, for those with a sweet tooth try their cinnamon donuts. Will not be disappointed!
The owners must not have been serving that day. The school kids did not have a clue and just plotted along at a slow pace even though stacks of people waiting. Coffee came in 20 minutes. Not good enough. Proper training required.
The best donuts in Wollongong, just as good as the famous Berry donut van. Also had the yoghurt granola with fresh fruit, very yummy and coffee is really good too. Location at Wollongong harbour is a great place to sit on a beautiful day. Staff are lovely, fast service, these guys are on the ball.
Seriously the best donuts around, light and fluffy, big and the perfect amount of cinnamon sugar! The spot also does some basic brekkie and coffees
These donuts were unexpectedly fried right away after ordering-allowing them to be crispy and warm. They were the best donuts I or my family ever tasted. They were extra delicious because the skin was crispy and the inside was so soft. We are thinking of visiting again.
Everyone raves about the donuts from here, so I had to check them out.
Firstly for a friday afternoon they only had 1 staff member on and there was roughly about 10 people wanting to get food and drinks.
The donuts were reasonable priced, I got a dozen for $18, they were slightly over cooked which I normally don't mind, it means they are crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle.
The ones that I had were alittle too dry. Big overall not too bad.
Ill try them again, sometime soon.
Best donuts in the entire Illawarra hands down. Worth the half hour drive when feeling like cinnamon donuts
Good coffee, breakkie, incredible views AND you get to watch some 'polar bears' swimming the harbour with pelican's too!
Great donuts! Fresh made when ordered. Beautiful bacon and egg roll and good coffee. Does get really busy on Sundays worth the wait.
