I had to use my xcover insurance for the first time due to luggage not arriving to our destination (took 3 days, travelling to Finland with -20C cold weather). Claimed for necessities bought during the wait for luggage as per policy. After months of review of basic travel documentation and receipts of items, claim was unsuccessful.

Reopened the claim now but let's see what happens. As it stands can't recommend xcover. Have the policy via Revolut bank, doesn't really offer the type of service promised on the bank side.

XCover is the scammer. My flight was canceled and I gave all information needed for of cancellation and partially refunds. XCover had never refunded my money. DO NOT BUY XCOVER FOR YOUR FLIGHT or any thing else.

Everything was very confusing, no phone to call, there was a number from England, very bad

I forward my calaim as Ryanair was delayed 8 hours and it was rejected. The problem is that the company is on Ryanair website so I used to buy their insurance for a peace of mind without reading the policies. I am aware now that the company will not cover medical expenses for people over 70 years old and delayed flights for less than 12 hours. I learnt my lesson. I will not buy this type of insurance any more.

Easy and quick to set up cover. Only 4 * as flight cancellation excess is doubled because I am over 65. I think age in this instance is irrelevant to the risk.

Excellent service! I needed to claim on a faulty item the response time was quick. Daily communication then received a full refund within days of making the claim. Would really recommend x-cover when purchasing any products especially mechanical ones.

My flight were cancelled and I requested a refund. I did not have much expectations but I was happily suprised to receiving assistance fairly quickly with no fuss. They were straight to the point and organised the refund in a week or so.

XCover have been very decent in refunding a trip I couldn’t take and also easy to get the cover in the first place.

Needed to make a claim from my travel insurance. Easy to use web site that meant it took about 15 minutes to make the claim and the claim was approved within five minutes of submitting the form - you can't ask for much more than that!
