Wyrrabalong National Park reviews
40Visited the refurbished Crackneck lookout.plenty of tables & bench seats to picnic.not much shade though but a beautiful spot to view whales from.
Expansive views and a lovely spot to sit and relax.
The negative is that the road up to Crackneck is full of potholes, so beware.
Great lookout area at Crac Nech for picnic with views from the Entrance to beyond Norah Head lighthouse. Bush walk up is interesting too.
Magnificent views and really well set out. Only reason for 4stars is that there are no garbage bins
Red gum track is a real delight. I managed to see the tail of a brush tailed wallaby while sitting at the lookout.
Very nice place and hike! We were able to see two kangaroos! But also an "eastern brown" snake that from what we read is quite dangerous. It is brown in color and blends in with the floor. Very nice park just be careful.
Such a beautiful nature reserve. The birds are so different to what I see at home. It's amazing how much beautiful we have so close to home
Very good selection of not only chocolate but other stuff as well.nice place to sit and have a coffee / hot choc.scones were good
Great place to visit, no houses to spoil the view, very quiet this time of the year and is only five minutes away from home come visit if like walking, swimming, fishing and surfing.
Coastline and big ocean views. Coastline bush walks. Nice for a picnic and whale watching season.
It's a natural treasure! Thank to all those active community members who fought to preserve such a special place.
It’s got some FILTHY views (good reaction) of the Australian coastline and a rather decent beach. It has some decent walking tracks and you often see little bush critters and birds on a stroll. It has car parks and watch your speed near it in a car, unmarked speed cameras love this stretch of road…the cheeky dogs.
Great location as their is no houses on the beach front just trees walkways and lots of Ocean between Bateau Bay Beach and Forrester's Beach go take a look or go for a walk there.enjoy
Nice walk, usually empty mid week. Quite busy during covid lockdown. Recent burnoff in August 2021 and smells like bushfires. Stainless steel handrail, pebblecrete pathway in places, plenty of steps, Walk to lookout has 240 metre of change in elevation.
Nice fare priced Asian food just a bit stingey on the dumpling sauce. 5 dumplings only enough dipping sauce for 2 dumplings
It is a great spot but just watch the young drivers who use the road as a race track, it is super narrow and dangerous for walkers. It appears they are meeting up there during Covid to drink alcohol and use fowl language which is a pity as many families make the walk regularly.
Enjoyable track, a little hilly but nothing strenuous. Not a lot of good lookout points as the ones available have too much tree growth to see anything but the walk is still pleasant and peaceful. Not much car parking available, I went on a Monday and it was full so something to keep in mind.
Crackneck walk, Forresters beach. Such a great walk for the whole family. Some of the best views in Australian. We saw a pod of about 40 dolphins on the weekend and watched them playing for about 20mins.
Take a walk through here from Crackneck Point or Forresters Beach. There's a steep bit so you need to be reasonably fit. See wild flowers, banksias and gums. There's a great lookout. The track is very civilised.
