Simply terrible and never again! I moved recently from Melbourne to Newcastle and everything about their service was poor. We had multiple breakages, with 6 being significant to treasured furniture items. So many things scratched and broken. The delivery was essentially a "dump and run" and the follow up non existent. Communication was woeful at every step including the last step to address the overwhelmingly troubling experience. This company seems to have gone off the rails - really poorly managed. Based on this most recent experience I just cannot recommend and will never use WridgWays again.

Absolutely the worst organisation to deal with - stay far, far away! My company had engaged Wridgways to repatriate one of our employees back to the US. Initially, all seemed to go well - until they have your money!

Packing and shipping from Sydney, no problem.but this is where the nightmare begins. Our employee's container was loaded by Wridgways who then hand over to Hapag-Lloyd for the shipping to the US. Once arrived, the container was taken to Dallas for customs clearance (using Crown Removals in the US). The first issue was that the bill of lading was not provided by Wridgways, which is needed to release the container. After countless calls and emails to Wridgways to release this simple piece of paper (and no return calls/email), we found out that Wridgways did NOT PAY Hapag-Lloyd and therefore they would not release the container. So, again after countless calls and emails to Wridgways here in Sydney, not one return call.

After the useless clerks that wouldn't respond to our queries, our company then contacted the CEO, COO and 2 other senior staff of Wridgways with our issue. Again, not ONE response from anyone - they seemed very happy at the beginning to take our money (over $30K in fact), but not one response. Our employees' container then sits inside US Customs and until the bill of lading is supplied, now charge $300/day storage fees! After repeated emails and calls again (even including calls to the CEO's mobile!) nobody has called us back. We are now engaging our solicitors to deal with this unprofessional, unreliable and unethical company. To ensure our employee get's their container, we have had to pay a further $6K to Hapag Lloyd to have it released. This figure and our original $30+K will also be recovered through legal recourse.

Subsequently to the above, we have found out certain divisions of Wridgways are in voluntary administration - NOW IT MAKES SENSE. They take $30+ thousand dollars and then don't pay their suppliers! They have lied and cheated us, the shipping company and the US division of Crown Removals. No wonder this business is in financial trouble! The Directors and Senior Executives of this organisation should be kicked to the curb and a new, ethical and honest leadership team be put in place.

To add insult to injury, now the employee has finally received his container, but upon opening, it is full of mould and mildew - basically everything is destroyed. Guess what.insurance of over $6K was paid to Wridgways, however they aren't helping with the insurance claim - we are told by the underwriter of the insurance that they cannot proceed with a claim until they are informed by Wridgways - who aren't doing it!

So, as you can see, DO NOT use this group - they will rob you blind and hide like cowards. Every single one of their Directors should be personally liable and sent to jail!

Very happy with the care and attention paid moving house from Sydney to QLD in 2019.
Now we have booked them again to move additional funiture from Sydney to Qld this week May 2021.
Hoping to be just as satisfied as before

So, we have an email from you (specifically Nathan
Cicchini) stating you would pick up our furniture from our Castlecrag home in Sydney on 3 May 2021 and have it delivered to our new home in Palm Cove, Queensland on 14 May 2021 (today!). Given that we did not hear from you, my husband rang you yesterday to find out time of delivery. He was told by your Queensland group that the delivery had not even left Sydney! Hy husband called Rhonda? (no title on her email) who said she would update us next Monday (17 May 2021)! Ummmmm Really? I am staying in an air bnb with our dog, and my husband is staying in a hotel in Palm Cove (where accomodation is tight at the moment as it is peak season. These costs are around $330 per day. We had NBN and Foxtel arranged for installation this afternoon, and I am to fly up (with my dog) next Friday 21 May - once all furniture is unpacked. How is this now possible? This poor poor service is wrong, disrespectful, inconsiderate, uncaring, rude and unsatisfactory on so many levels.
1: No one bothered to call and update us
2: The additional stress to us on an already extremely stressful situation
3: Where is my husband to stay after today? If he does find somewhere - the cost is unsustainable to us.
4: We went with Wridgeways based on the fact you were supposed to be a quality removalist company.
5: Given we have paid you $11,000.00 (paid in full), please explain how we received what we paid for. We deserve a substantial discount - plus all out of pocket expenses we now have to incur.
6: My husband needs to be back in Sydney next Wednesday (19 May 2021) to attend to urgent financial matters - again, placing stress on an already stressful situation.
7: My husband is starting a new job in Cairns on Monday 24 May - again, you have added further stress to an already stressful situation. How can he attend this job when the house may not even be unpacked? Clothes? Furniture?
I could go on.
To add insult to injury - noone has bothered to call him today. He called the state manager of NSW (Tim Gray) yesterday and left a message - asking him to call as a matter of urgency. Nothing back - either yesterday or today.
My husband has tried to call again today - the phone just rings out and he can't leave a message.
WE NEED OUR FURNITURE ON A TRAIN TO PALM COVE TODAY!
How can we get through to you!
We are beyond outrage.
I will also be going to A Current Affair and OFfice of Fair Trading on Monday if this is not resolved today.

They will steal your belongings. They break and damage things. And perhaps worst of all they have completely
different teams on the job each day. The teams do not comunnicate at all. Many of the staff will also completely
ignore anything you say to them

Terrible business who don’t care about anyone but themselves. The staff don’t care. The removal was from USA to NSW and the whole experience was a nightmare. Broken goods and extra expenses. Had to pay for our belongings to be delivered to our address from a different company! Do not use this company! They are crooks and are going bust!

Absolutely worst service I have encountered - will not reply to phone calls or emails - pretty much every person we get forwarded to has quit the business! Taking our complaint to Fair Trading!

Unfortunately we used WridgWays to move us from Brisbane to Sydney, we had 1.5 containers. Troy Adamson, their sales rep came twice to do the inventory as we had "a lot" of items coming from 5 bed 3 living areas big home on acreage. The team that came to pack and upload, was absolutely deplorable, I cannot emphasise that enough, I have always done our own packing but this time we booked them to do just the breakables, we cannot comprehend how a person in their right mind would pack a tea set with 1 cup in a box, 2 plates in another box, the remainder of the set split up in other boxes this created a nightmare trying to sort out their placement in a much smaller home, in addition about 90% of the boxes were labelled 'lounge ornaments' you would open a box and find shoes, a garden statue, my husband's printer; they put a glass lamp on the top of a box be bending the shade down which is now broken, a beautiful mosaic urn had only 1 butchers paper around it and it was cracked between ceramic pots, nearly all my artificial plants have leaves snapped off or are bent without any chance of going back to their original positions, our marble coffee table has its timber base missing and a glass shelf with bebbled edge that sat on our expensive handmade ceramic base is also missing, glass shelves from our display cabinet are missing but we inherited someone's double bed mattress! Our mirror cabinet now has a crack on the side, In addition we have A LOT OF ITEMS IN BOXES STILL UNACCOUNTED FOR, we emailed them immediately and ofc there was no accountability, apology or attempt to help us because we did not take extra insurance. Totally disgusting, we now have furniture which we can't use or sell DO NOT USE THIS SHOCKING PEOPLE

I cannot speak highly enough of WridgWays. I completed a complex interstate move, with unanticipated long-term storage in the interim. The initial assessment and quote was thorough and more than reasonable. On moving day the team arrived right on time, then wrapped and packed all my goods with maximum efficiency and care. My 2BR apartment was located on the third floor of my building, accessible by a tight stairwell only. This was no problem for the crew. My goods were stored safely and securely at WridgWays warehouse. When it came time to retrieve them, my delivery requirements had changed. WridgWays worked with me to amend the terms. They were more than fair. Upon arrival the delivery team was just as fast and friendly as the pick-up crew had been. Nothing was damaged or missing. When they had finished unloading the team even helped me haul a load of junk to the local tip for disposal. I could not have asked for better service and support. I would highly recommend WridgWays to everyone!

I was impressed with the assessor that came before the move. Very professional and promised great service which did NOT happen. Paid for crates which didn't arrive. Whole cartons of glassware smashed and expensive heavy statues dropped and broken. A letter to the manager of NSW, went unanswered.
The workmen were wonderful.

Wridgways Removals owes me $2,475.00, which they agreed to pay as compensation for damage to items transported to my home in June. I have authorized the repair of the damaged furniture on the basis of their agreement. Two months after agreeing to pay this sum, I have received nothing and have had no further responses to my emails or phone calls. It appears I will have to contact the Department of Fair Trading to resolve this issue.

The entire team at Wridgways did an excellent job managing my recent move from Sydney to Melbourne. Mat W in Sales and Charbele in Customer Service both did a really great job with the initial quote and follow up as well as processing all the paperwork, organising the insurance and finalising all the details for the pick up and delivery. On the pick up day the team arrived on time and were very friendly and professional. They did a superb job at getting all my things loaded onto the container. On delivery day at my new place the crew also arrived on time and did another great job off loading everything. I would happily recommend Wridgways and wouldn't hesitate to use them again in any further removals.

I am a current client of this unprofessional company. My shipment was collected from Hong Kong on 28 March 2020 and this company claimed that the delivery time would be 5-8 weeks. After repeated emails and voice messages, they finally told me that my stuff was still sitting in the origin after 9 weeks! They did not give me any explanation at all and their replies are simply procrastinating.

NEVER hire this company unless you want to dump everything you own at a very high cost!

Widgways did well. Everything was clearly itemised on a worksheet and ticked off on delivery. Also the move was timely without delays and in good order. Some items we damaged (minor, few glass breaks) because of our big volume, so that was expected. The insurance was costly but expected since they use an insurance company and you cannot take the risk (flooding/bush fire during transport). All good and would use them again.

I was moving some furniture from Sydney to my daughter in Perth. The WridgWays team were friendly and responsive. Easy to deal with on the phone and in person. I would use them again.

Thank you to the team at Wridgways.
You made our move from remote northern New South Wales to Perth Western Australia an absolute breeze.
Mat W was especially accommodating and I cannot recommend him and the team enough to anyone seeking relocation services.

TERRIBLE SERVICE
They dropped items at delivery which completely smashed. It then took 3 months of us chasing them up and them ignoring our emails to be offered $200 compensation on furniture worth $2,000 to replace.

This company needs to learn how to communicate with customers and also internally.
We continually had to get on phone or email to chase up - box delivery, confirm uplift and also return from storage and home install.
Ridiculous!
Received attitude on the phone when chasing these things up and had to explain that moving is stressful enough without knowing important detail such as above.
We decided to not go ahead with our insurance 'option' the day before uplift, after paying it in full, as the paperwork was lengthy at a busy time. We decided to take the risk.
Promised a return of the paid portion (approx $700) and have never seen any payment.
5 weeks later I am still getting the run around and now being asked for correspondence showing that they were going to return the monies.
I'd be telling anyone looking at these guys to approach with caution.
Next stop - Fair Trading.
