Worn Out Wares reviews
64Was a shame the delicious food and lovely ambiance was rather cancelled out by the condescending attitude of our server. At times outright rude, at others merely passive aggressive, her attitude seemed centred on us being an inconvenience. Might be time for the cafe to rethink their staffing choices.
Such a homey vibe to this place. Very community-oriented feel, included their selection of books for sale. Tasty home-style food served in a very cosy atmosphere.
Went here for breakfast, everything was outstanding, friendly helpful staff, great coffee and delicious food. It’s got a great atmosphere with several dining areas. Definitely a place to stop for a coffee or meal in Singleton.
Lovely cafe in singleton, great nik naks and extra things to buy on top of lovely food, coffee and service. Only spoilt very slightly buy the overpowering garlic in the garlic yogurt served with mushrooms. I love garlic but too much raw garlic takes over every other flavour.
Would still recommend.
Gorgeous cafe, great food, great coffee, immaculate vibes. This place is an amazing stopover if you’re passing through the Upper Hunter. Highly recommend.
Love this cafe, family run you can feel the love. 20 years they have owned and run this place, the food amazing. Jo and Lisa from the sunshine coast. Its a must best breakfast. X
Great food, good coffee and such a great amount of variety. The store options and the florist overflow area are all such a beautiful feel. Coming back!
Happily made the Rueben sandwich without bread for me and presented it beautifully. It was fantastic! Coffee was superb
Drove out of my way to go here as the coffee was recommended. Beautiful little shop & Cafe, friendly service, good vibe - & yep, the coffee was worth the detour.
A gorgeous gem. Such a cosy and fresh atmosphere with delish hot drinks served in the sweetest crockery. Dazzled with the greenery and attention to detail here. A breath of fresh air in singleton.
The best Reuben Sandwich.ever.
Perfection. Thick tender moist slabs of prime
We've eaten Rubens from one end of Australia to the other. No. Not a Reuben obsession. But we do enjoy good food. And. Wait till you taste their Carrot Cake. Moist, firm, beautiful texture and flavour. Not too sweet. Just right. And just enough icing. Sensational. Again, yet to find better in Australia. I know. That's a big call. But well qualified. Have been driving through Singleton 4 or 5 times a year on the way up and down from Sydney to Brisbane for the past 12 years. Worn out Wares is our must stop place. It's worth the 2 1/2 hour drive up from Sydney.
Love the coffe & the arangment of the shops.
You can buy there local produced food, nice touch.
I always love the food there, gf & vegan options, but i was so dissapointed when we ordered an avo bread which was a tosted bread with just cut abocado on and spices. Nothing more. I mean you go to a restaurant for the experience and to eat stuff you would not prepare for yourself at home and this was really low quality.
Overall still love the place and coming back there for the lovely atmosphere…
Funky decor and friendly staff, the coffee was out of this world and both meals were delicious and generous servings.
Always and I mean always delicious home cooked food. Especially loving the soups! Today’s cauliflower was just delicious! And of course love browsing all the eclectic homewares and beautiful florist shop.
Fabulous Cafe with wonderful food, really good coffee. Plus a small shop area with homewares and books. Building has heaps of character and staff service is prompt and friendly.
Such a cute little cafe! Food is awesome. So are the staff. If you visiting Singleton do check this place out.
Yum.great coffee.yummy alternative kinda food! Loved the books and gift ware.very cute! Layout was a weee bit of a challenge.especially for folk with motility issues.not sure that this is easily solved. In saying that.yummy lunch.great company
This is not a florist - TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED - Mothers Day 2022, paid for a colourful arrangement of flowers for my Mother-In-Law (who lives 5 min drive from this florist in Singleton NSW). I thought $100 (which included delivery) would give a great gift for a gorgeous lady. The attached photo shows what arrived - is this worth $85+? Don't waste your time or money on this florist. For $100 she got the attached arrangement. I sent an email the next day "voicing" my disappointment and asked the reason why. Still no reply from WOW! Never again - Shame on you!
Lovely decor and interesting wares in the store. Friendly and helpful staff. Food took a little bit to come, but you can't complain when it tastes that good. Got the Reuben sandwich, which we all loved. Generous portions and so delicious. Very happy that we stopped here.
Came across this little gem on our way home from holidays. What a beautiful little shop & an amazing cafe. The food was so fresh, delicious & wholesome. Definitely recommend a detour on your travels.
