There once was a time when dealing with Work Ventures tech staff was a delight. Now they are (with one exception) rude, unhelpful, extremely lazy, incompetent and ageist. I am devestated by the way I was treated. They really need to lift their game and treat the elderly with respect rather than as if we are idiots. You may know about about computers. Big deal. I don't apologize for being born in 1953.

I find WorkVentures to be a super trustworthy and low cost support for any IT type questions. Being a not for profit allows them to do a wonderful service. I have used them for many many years

I recently did work placement here from the 12th of April till the 16th and I would like to say the way they operate is very impressive. Work Ventures has very friendly staff, down to earth and always there if you need help. I would highly recommend going here if you need any help regarding technical support, thank you for hosting us and we certainly enjoyed working with you and gaining new skills to implement in the future.

Terrible customer service. Do they really get away with this customer service I should have gone to cash converters at least they do their job properly

I would like to praise Workventures for the recent significant improvement in their customer service. It used to be quite ordinary, now it is business-like. My one concern relates to their delivery service. There is still much room for improvement, especially in the light of how expensive it is. Toll leaves a lot to be desired. Their recent attempt to deliver my laptop consisted of buzzing me and leaving a card even though I let them in the building to deliver it. I then received some messages advising me where the machine had been delivered. I took my ID and presented it the the relevant person. He duly found my computer. It had been left in front of the shop counter near the cash register where customers pay. Some security that is. That is not good enough, especially in a high crime neighbourhood like mine. Doesn't anyone ever check these things?

THANK YOU WORK VENTURES

As a person who is qualified in the field of software support & and managed a non profit organisation, but on a much smaller scale now as a volunteer, the I have come across many who sell, repair & advise on the purchasing of computers in a professional capacity. In short I have experienced the good, the bad & ugly over the past 25 years. I have every reason to categorically state that WORK VENTURES raises the bar for many businesses, companies & corporations. I was extremely happy with the first computer purchased from them 7 years ago but by far more astounded by the recent repair work done. Their eagerness to help, making themselves available personally a few minutes after calling them & the stupendous result & generosity of the their work reeks of integrity. I could hardly believe that such an organisation existed. Their fine work & inexpensive service has enabled us to put food on tables in Third World Countries for those who would otherwise starve. Their service is considered a significant contribution to what we do. And it doesn't end at the completion of their stella workmanship. It continues to enable us with ease & reliability to literally assist the poor who would otherwise starve to death. Work Ventures is not just a business. They are an organisation that stand for something that by far eclipses money, something that one cannot put a price on. And it is their attitude & integrity that compels me to have the highest admiration for the vast work they do for those who have disabilites. It would be very easy for me to provide a documented list of tangible reasons for the above mentioned. I can assure you that this is by no means an inflated compliment, but rather, a simple statement of facts!

Why have a face book and website message box if you do not get back to people? One message reply only saying 'someone would get back to me'. Four messages later and still no running computer and no reply. I do not have time through the day to call and so I assumed their website and facebook page messaging service would be a helpful way for me to simply get a new (and much needed) cord for my laptop which I bought from them. But no response.
How does this help customers who have purchased a laptop from you get what they need? Why not have replacement cords for the laptop models you sell available for purchase on your website?

I purchased a PC from Work Ventures 5 years ago, it was a stressful time and the way they explained everything and helped with everything was just a really good experience. When some time later I got a bad virus (my fault) on my PC they were helpful in every way and restarted my computer perfectly. I am a bit more tech savvy now but would not hesitate to use their services again.
