Woolworths Nelson Bay reviews
67 We managed to stock up everything for a 4 day trip in one go here.
It's a great store.
Nice shopping and under cover carparking quick checkout and not super busy, while I was shopping
Probably the best Woolies on the east coast!
Plenty of parking, a champion deli and champion staff.
If you ever want to go shopping at a funeral, this place is right for you! The overall vibe of the staff reminds me of a death row prison.
What is the difference between Coles, Aldi and Woolworths. Simply put it is the way you are treated. Prices are pretty much the same, number of stores. So what puts Woolies ahead of the rest is the staff. I live in Dural, NSW and with my wife we are currently holidaying in Nelson Bay. With some shopping to do we went to Woolies and was there served by a remarkable young lady by the name of Rebecca, who recognised me from a year ago, because of the small “Woolies” satchel that I carry my shopping bags in. She assisted us in every way possible and made what would be a mundane chore into a very pleasurable experience. In short, she was the greatest possible advertisement into “Why shop at Woolies”. Well done Rebecca….
One of if not the best shopping experience I have had, polite friendly staff, clean shop and you can have a cup of coffee while shopping with a drink holder in the trolley.
A typical Woolworths super market. A very wide variety of goods, well managed and clean.
The only item that I found odd was about the way how staffs communicate. Few young fellows might have not been trained for it.
This store is located in the heart of Nelson Bay. Ample parking is supplied underneath the store. It is a typically large Wooli's store with a liquor store attached. Good value items abound.
Big underground parking and street parking. Really well spaced out store and the staff are every friendly.
It was alright. Understaffed, staff winging about their working conditions, didn't appear to know what they were doing in ACO or didn't care. 2 people in ACO and still couldn't handle it. Most stores only have 1 ACO Attendant and can handle it.
Went to do some basic shopping, was disappointed with the purchase of a French Camembert cheese which I tossed on opening and a roast chicken which was tasteless with a somewhat plasticky flavour. The fruit and vegetables were however fresh, firm and tasty.
I think this is the best Supermarket I have ever been in, the first thing you see is the Coffee Shop, a truly smart person has designed this place, you can have your coffee, then gradually work yourself onto that trolley and just start what has to be done, W
Fabulous store. Plenty undercover parking. You can even have a coffee and vhat with friends here
Big store and at a great location for a quick buy at Nelson Bay.
They do have a plenty of parkibg space.
Also, the staff were friendly.
Keep it up!
Huge place.food is fresh and well presented.hats off to you Woolies a real part of the community thank you Craig
Such a well organised layout cant get lost looking for what you need. Plus the workers are soo nice.
Lots of underground parking and direct access to the supermarket is great. Friendly staff at the checkout are great too.
Well stocked with fresh fruit and produce.
Although there isn't a wide variety for the visitors to the place meat wise that's ok.
Bread was so fresh we purchased & honestly I seen every shelf packed.
Customer service was good from the young lady who served us although the shelf stock staff could give a smile when we smiled to them.
Could be because I was a minority.
Great place though actually better than my local back in sydney
Unfortunately deliveries to store did not happen and shelves empty of essentials. Staff doing a wonderful job despite the abuse. They all deserve recognition from Woolworths for excellence under fire
Shopped yesterday and was very impressed with the staff being so helpful, adhereing to Social Distancing" and politely asking shopper who encroached across the green lines to move back, and continually disifecting equipment. Also surprised how well stocked it was.
Well done everyone at Woolworths we all appreciate your hard work.
