I know this store isn't really there for a main grocery shop but it is too small: selection is very narrow. The lack of trolleys also forces you to only buy small amounts.

The only plus would be the convenient location.

Woolworth Chatswood is much more expensive than the other Woolworth. I bought A2 milk 2 L -$7.3 in Chatswood Woolworth and the other Woolworth is $6.6 only. I bough grape juice $5.5 in Chatswood Woolworth and the other Woolworth is $4.8 only. Very upset with different Woolworth charge very different prices extremely? !?

Woolworths has a rewards system for a reason, and they are offering free coffees for every 30 dollars you spend. I lined up to get a coffee only to be told (rudely, without an apology) that they simply aren't making them for customers because they are short staffed. This doesn't make sense because there were 3 staff in the vicinity and it doesn't take any longer to make a coffee than it does to scan a basket of groceries. So why is it the coffee customers that lose out? I wasn't sure if this was a permanent thing or just temporary, but there was no sign up about this, and so all the customers who had waited in line had wasted their time. What is the point of a rewards system that doesn't work? Might as well remove the coffee machine if you're not going to make coffee.

Poorly managed, I usually pick up a take away coffee, redeeming vouchers I get from shopping with my rewards card. Something went wrong with their coffee machine and it went unfixed for at least 3 weeks. Finally I go to redeem a long black after they were again serving coffee, and they told me I couldn't have a long black because they didn't have hot water. Seriously incompetent, it's not like they don't sell kettles in store. Every time I walked past in the last month or so, I looked to see if they fixed the coffee machine, and when it wasn't I walked the extra 100 metres to Coles to get my shopping. I'm going to keep walking that bit extra because this Woolworths is plainly horrible. It's not like they stock their shelves properly either, it's just a more expensive version of a Woolworths that doesn't have parking nearby.

Overpriced products with completely abhorrent, racist staff members.

Was racially profiled and harassed by staff today whilst I was attempting to purchase yogurt, with 3 of them approaching me claiming that I was shoplifting.

When explaining to them I hadn’t taken anything and emptying my bag to prove so, I was told with no proper explanation that I would be permanently banned.

Would not recommend coming here. Coles and Aldi have multiple stores nearby and unlike this Woolworths, they do not racially profile school-children.

For some mysterious reason, despite being aware of the high volume of customers that the store is subjected to, they can never manage to restock at the rate another shop of similar size and exposure could. What are even more disturbing are these emerging allegations that the staff here racially profile POCs and blame them falsely for shoplifting. Clearly the store is under exceptionally poor management.

Great Woolies Metro - wonderful store and a large range of items to choose from. Better than my local Coles! Shoutout to Parth for going above and beyond to help me find an out of stock item - he was super helpful and friendly!

I went to Woolworths to pick up dumplings after school and i realised i didn't have enough money to pay.so i left it and walked out then a old aged Japanese sushi chef came up to me and shouted at me.then he started touching me and accusing me of shoplifting very bad experience had to get my bag searched

Very rude service woman!
Bought 2 packs of nuts and macadamia nuts were stale! Went to exchange and she could not do the exchange and wanted me to pay $1. I told her to look at the receipt as the deal was 2 packs for $10.

She was not happy and just threw our replacement nuts to me and said just take it!

Customer service at the cashier is bad with the asian lady.at around 5pm today. I was waiting on the line She kept talking to a customer who she has finished serving I was already in front of the register but she still keep talk to the customer and ignoring me I don't mind if you have little chats but no apologise from her all.

Was cornered by multiple staff and falsely accused of shoplifting. Pretty terrible experience.

However, admittedly, it is a convenient location to pick up a few quick items, but does lack variety.

A smaller Woolies that is great for a quick shop. As it is a Metro store, don’t expect it to have everything though it does have pretty much all the necessities. You will not find everything in catalogues here, nor all the range or flavors of your particular chips or ice cream but it does the job!

Nice and convenient next to the station. Downside is staff can be quite hit and miss, some can be helpful and some are just lazy. The store needs an upgrade on hygiene in its frozen and fridge aisles. Quite dirty when looked closely.

This store is handy to pick up a few items but not practical for large shopping list. Limited range, often don’t have advertised specials. Had a problem with auto checkout & staff could not remedy. Will use Coles in future.

Hopeless shop, doesn't have broad beans. They paying big dollars for rent and they don't have the most popular product in the world. Customer service is nice, I can't denied it but it needs more products. I'm wondering who on earth managing this store, where is your common sense. Really disappointed with too many missing product on the shelf. Come on guys, it's a business.
Hope I can see broad beans on shelf next time.

I visited this store this week and the floral displays looked awesome. The quality and freshness is exceptional. It is always a pleasure come shopping in this store and staff are always friendly

Horrible staff service, first the cashier, then the staff whose name is "Bhaumik"
time: around 9am 30/12 /2021
Location: Chatswood Woolworths

I went to the shop to ask for refund of the product I bought yesterday because the food was placed in spot of the sales price tag which confused me I though it is on sale but it's full price.

But the cashier said can't do refund because it is frozen food. Then I said, I understand, are there any solution, such as I could get it with the price on sale not the full price. Then the Cashier went to check with the other staff. But all of their answers are NO, I tried to explain to them what exactly happened when I bought yesterday. Then there was a staff called " Bhaumik" came out and said with a very bad attitude and impatient, didn't bother to listen to me to finish my explanation.just replay " No, No, can't do it, can't do it" with arrogant voice. And said I can complain to the manager. I said you are so rude and bad attitude, then he said: You have no right to point out my attitude is bad. "
Finally he said " I work for the company (woolworths) NOT YOU " then walked away.

There are no ONLY woolworths this supermarket, I will never be back to this store! Terrible experience.
By the way, I don't want to give even a star rating, but if I don't give, the message couldn't be posted

I go there a lot. They should have never have redesigned the store. I don’t know what they were thinking. Was so much better with more products before. They have even done away with my favourite cheese ie Havarti except for a terrible Australian brand which tastes terrible. They used to sell a better selection of electricals. Now it’s pretty sparse.
