Wollongong Visitor Information Centre reviews
8It is too helpful staff. It is a good information point and have a lot free maps and information books
Great views, and facilities. Very disappointed over the amount of rubbish around the place. Especially at the carpark.
There are plenty of information booklets on things around the regions, plus they have a great range of merchandise available. The views from the observation deck are marvellous.
Just called in on the way from Sydney down to Wollongong to rescue 1 of our drivers then we had to do the Macquarie pass in a 48 foot semi that was a eye opener, I've done it 30 yrs ago in a car but first in a prime mover
Information section was fine but we waited at the counter to buy some food for 5 minutes with a employee standing at the till counting money, he couldn't even acknowledge us or ask is to wait then walked away. Another employee then also walked by and ignored us as well. We only wanted to buy a muffin so would have been quick and there were hardly any customers so they weren't busy. They lost our business. Toilets were also dirty.
Wollongong Visitor centre is a great place to visit and rest after a long drive, plenty of touring information with professional service, fantastic views for get great photos, and delicious refreshments, plenty of parking, toilet facilities.
Definitely worth the stop. Outstanding view. Parking spaces for caravanners. Toilets. And a cafe for those who need one.
Restaurant is from average to poor.more to the poor.ice cream shop saves the day and also the visit, after the view.
