I went to two sessions at this place, the second appointment i waited over an hour to see the doctor upon which he stated that my ankle wouldn't be fixed without surgery but sent me to physiotherapy instead, which was a waste of time, I would rather deal with living with the pain and instability of an ankle with no ligaments than go there again, seemed more interested in making money than actually fixing my ankle

I cannot thank Dr Sheraz Anjum and the team at Joint Vision. What Sheraz has done to save my leg over the past twelve months has been amazing. To find a surgeon that goes above and beyond is so refreshing. He understood not only the seriousness of the injury but also the emotional toll a accident like this takes on the patient. You will not find a better surgeon or team that make you feel welcome every time you visit. If I could give 10 star review then I would.

Firstly, Dr Dares works tirelessly and did a brilliant surgery on my bone-on-bone foot. Dr Dares was so caring, professional and understanding.
Heidi, (Nurse) too works tirelessly and gives so much of her time to each patient, called me at home on bad days, told me what to expect being in the boot and afterwards. So caring and answered all my questions.
The front-line Staff, Chantelle, Monique, Bella and Soha and those i havent mentioned, apologies, worked so hard to make sure that absolutely everything within Joint Vision Orthopaedic's ran so smoothly. They are angels who showed kindness and respect for every patient. My Phsio, so gentle and makes the session so worthwhile that you feel confident that you are on the right track.

I recently had a foot issue diagnosed and treated at Joint Vision and have been very happy with the whole process to find out what was causing the pain. I had X-rays, ultrasound, MRI and podiatry and can highly recommend Dr Dares and in particular podiatrist Stefan Evans for their thorough review and treatment of my issue. Glad to say I’m on the mend.

Wollongong Foot & Ankle centre service is superior to any other.
The service that the professional friendly team provides is second to none, even the polite and switched on girls at the front desk.
They have all the correct state of the art equipment to diagnose my condition, x-ray & MRI. These tools & procedures gave me an insite i needed that the GP couldn't provide.
My experience was professional, pleasant & passionate, going above & beyond to exceed my expectations. This centre is the best of the best with everything you need in a one stop shop.

Podiatry team are very good and helpful. However on both visits the x-ray staff are downright the rudest and most condescending customer facing personnel I've ever encountered. I seldom leave negative feedback but this was really unlike anything I've experienced before.

Also, if you have an injury and can't drive the location isn't the most accessible.

I cannot speak highly enough about Dr Dares and the Rehab team at Wollongong Foot and Ankle Centre. From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted by very friendly and welcoming staff. I had the best pre-op and post-op experience, the team even called me a few days after the surgery to follow up to see how I was feeling. The Rehab team are outstanding and I'm amazed by how quick they had me mobile as they focus on kinetics and early mobilisation. I could not walk pain free for a couple of years before the operation and now after 6 weeks I'm already feeling better than ever!

After having a botched procedure at another clinic I can’t explain how grateful I was to walk through the doors of the Wollongong Foot and Ankle Centre! After having issues with my feet (tendons seizing up, painful underneath) I contacted WFAC. The team was professional and efficient in organising the appointment and when I arrived I immediately felt at ease. After meeting with the Podiatry team and having a chat the problem was found quickly to be Plantar Fasciatis (very painful). Options were given on ways to resolve this and I went with the exercise and rehabilitation route. With all the equipment to make custom orthotics on site, and a bunch of balls and bands to take home immediately, I was soon well on the road to recovery. 6 months down the track and my feet have never felt better. Thanks team, keep up the great work!

We were referred to Wollongong Foot & Ankle Centre by our GP when our 15-year-old daughter broke her leg while ice skating recently. Dr Meghan Dares sent her for an MRI which showed she also had torn key ligaments. Dr Dares advised against surgery and instead recommended a moon boot, much to the delight of our daughter who was worried about having surgery.
Dr Dares saw our daughter for weekly consultations and X-rays, which took place in the X-ray room within the practice meaning we didn’t have to drive from clinic to clinic for her care. This saved us so much time.
Throughout her treatment and recovery our daughter felt very comfortable and well-looked after. The practice staff were friendly and understanding from her first appointment to her last, and Dr Dares herself was very caring and always took her time at each consultation.
Our daughter has just started rehab at Wollongong Foot & Ankle Centre and she attends each session with a smile on her face thanks to the centre’s wonderful staff. The practice itself is beautiful and clean and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. Thank you to the entire team!
