6 Would not say this is a discount chemist. I asked for the generic brand for common medications and received the brand name, which obviously costs more.
I have been to other pharmacies that charge this price and they don’t market themselves as discount. I normally go to Chemist Warehouse and will return there as it is substantially cheaper.
One staff member was very friendly and helpful, however, one of the pharmacists was busy with another patient and the other one was on the phone sorting out issues with his mobile.
Excellent service and Rony is an amazing pharmacist easy to.talk to and genuinely caring. Well stocked and layed out pharmacy wide aisles very knowledgeable and helpful staff
They are my goto pharmacy. I too did a price check in a medicine, with no problems, I was even advised to remind the girls for "next time". The staff is great, always happy for a chat (time permitting). I have been to other chemists in Wollongong, but I find this pharmacy better than the rest
Wollongong discount chemist it's best because they be friends for 12 years, that's why I give him five stars.

A small store with a limited selection. Staff are very friendly and seem caring. A non bulk billing medical centre is accessible through the pharmacy. I had a prescription filled and the price was 33% more than I pay at another discount chemist. I asked if they would price match. After a little while they agreed, made a fuss of adding a note to my file to always price match - and then charged the original price anyway. If they advertise as a discount place a customer shouldn't walk away knowing that you've been overcharged.
