After sending plans and all information we were recommended the sophel, primarily to heat the concrete floor.
2 years later after their recommended installer had been out multiple times to address issues, one of the wiseliving staff came out and blank faced told this was the wrong system and another $10,000 (already paid $30000) would fix the system they recommended. BEWARE!

Once this company made the sale the support was terrible. The plumber and electrician contacted the company many times with no follow up as to how to install as to not jeopardise the warranty. And I was told to just get another plumber and electrician! Very disappointed as it cost me over $20,000. The combustion heater itself is lovely however needs to come with in-depth installation details

Present to self in finally having a place to call home is a Thermolux Supreme lll with hot water jacket which combines a great size fire box with excellent economy of fuel efficiency and longevity of burn time in any combustion stove I have used.admittedly only several.but it is better than I expected consumption wise.
I have the joy of slow cooking, quick heat to cook when necessary and plentiful hot water that stays hot easily 1-2 days without fire, an isolator switch to swap to off peak mains power when stove not in use plus a massive reduction in my electricity bills.
Staff at Wise Living have been extremely helpful in advising me on maintenance, care and longevity of this high quality unit.
Installed in April there has been one minor issue, definitely not a manufacturing fault and they talked me through identifying and resolving the issue plus supplied the necessary items which was not really a warranty issue but they chose to provide impeccable customer service.
Too recommendation from this happy customer and everyone that sees my stove is impressed!

We had a hot water storage tank installed by our plumber during a reno. 4 years later a problem appeared. No hesitation WiseLiving came, saw and conquered. A relatively minor manufacturing fault simply remedied. Nick was confident that he understood what the problem was but was also prepared to replace the unit under warranty if that was needed. Could not be more impressed

My second Thermalux Supreme, first one in Tas almost 20 years ago, this one in Vic for past 12 years. Best wood stove on the market! Beats all the overseas ones hands down, suits our rugged Australian life. Very strongly built, takes any knocks, huge wood box and oven. Second oven is perfect for drying herbs, veggies etc. Cooking, heating and hot water, the perfect appliance, with after sales care and support to match. Very happy customer, will be looking for another Thermalux in my future granny flat.

The after-sale service we received, and still are, 4 years later, is outstanding. Couldn't be more helpful, advisory and generous. VERY happy with our fuel stove. So pleased to buy Australin too.

Glad I bought Australian Made!

A company that l have purchased our first solar hot water system from in 2001 and it is still working well so we we needed to get a unit for another house we went straight back to them. Good service and advice and it is nice to see a business that is manufacturing products in Australia, wood fired boilers and stoves, solar /hydronic capable hot water services etc.

Brought a Gourmet Cooker. In its first season of use the firebox door seal fell out of its rebate. Rang Wiseliving and was told that this wasn't covered under warranty even so it is an obvious manufacturing fault. I was advise to purchase some roof and gutter silastic to stick it back into place, after questing this I was advised as this what is getting used in the factory. Roof and gutter silastic has aTemperature resistance – approximately -60°C +150°C, measuring the temperature on the bottom outside of the fire box door under normal operation it is in excess of 350 deg C more than twice the heat resistance of the silastic used. Bad workmanship is the least I can call it. I certainly will not recommend there products to any of my customers.
