Winning Appliances Northmead reviews
47Great appliances to view but when something goes wrong don’t try to contact anyone terrible customer service!
Terrible customer service their store manager asked us to quieten our children (3 and 2 years of age) who were singing. We then decided to buy all our appliances for our new house from another store.
None of the appliances specifications are placed anywhere, so do not blindly believe the staff as they say whatever comes to their mind.
The staff here have their own agenda of selling particular brands, and try to deter you from the other brands so much that they lie that the waiting period for other brand appliances is around 6 months which is not true.
Bought dishwasher and had it delivered and installed. Service was first-class right through to installation
I went here to look at and see cooktops operating. None of these were powered, so I might as well have been looking at half a dozen black pieces of glass. The sales guy had no knowledge whatsoever and was just reading off the website. 1 star for the free coffee.
Excellent service, patient, attentive and caring, James is most helpful throughout my kitchen renovation over 6 months, from placing orders to deliveries, encountering many challenges like out of stock cooktop, faulty oven, postponed deliveries, James helps to resolve each issues promptly, coordinating closely with both appliances and kitchen suppliers, Thanks very much to James and Northmead Winning, offering the best service support for my challenging kitchen renovation.
I've never dealt with a company so incompetent. I've called no less than 20 times and 1 call back. Shocking Service
Had a great experience with Christopher Coates of Winnings Northmead. Fantastic knowledge of products and excellent after sales service.
Sales person dropped us quickly when she realised we weren't interested in the high end appliances. Not a good experience
If you require an oven in a hurry, due to your oven no longer working, stay away from this organisation.
My in-store customer journey was great, until the distributor called 4 days later with the bad news. Be warned about retailers like Winnings that have no or little inventory and direct your order via the distributors online ordering portal. In our case we purchased the oven in full payment $7,895 based on the sales person assurance of 1 to 2 week delivery timeframe, only to be told by the distributor that it would be 6 to 8 weeks for delivery at best.
Winnings therefore have no control over availability and delivery timeframe despite putting a delivery date on your paperwork. Consumers should not be misled in this way. The worst aspect about this whole experience is that after phoning Winnings Northmead on two separate occasions and leaving messages for the sales person to seek clarity, they have not had the decency to call me back and so we have been left to re-negotiate with the Melbourne distributors. We can only conclude that making a sale and commission is more important than customer service. Shame on you Winnings.
Terrible service and communication, this is a company I cannot recommend. I ordered an induction hob that was promised delivery on 12/April/22. On the day, I called for an estimated delivery time and was told the amended delivery date was the 26/April, even though no one had phone me about the amended date. Again I rang on the 26/April and then was told the new delivery date was 29/May with at least another two weeks delivery wait. Again, no call from the company. The frustrating aspect was that I had the old hob removed prior to the 12/April! Cancelled my order.
Don’t bother to visit Winning Appliances Northmead. The worst customer service, plenty of staff sitting around doing nothing and the products on display have no information. You are better of going to Harvey Norman or Good Guys. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Placed an order for a Christmas gift on 14 November, asked for it to be delivered on 18 December. No problem. 18 December rolls around, I call to check what time it's likely to be delivered. They tell me (for the first time) that it's on pre-order and won't come until the end of January. Thanks for ruining Christmas, jerks.
Very poor delivery service, the guys damaged the front of the dryer, chipped the tiles on the stairs and did not even hook up the condenser hoses to the waste.
Additionally there was water and rust in the washing machine.
Very poor service and product.
Fantastic display, great service and ADRIAN was Brilliant!
Don't know about price comparisons, but we felt great value for all we bought (a tad under $ 20k) in appliances.
What a brilliant experience shopping at the Northmead Winning Appliances with Yini Sun. She was extremely knowledgeable across all the products/ brands and helped us to select our entire kitchen project. She provided support through the whole order process and even with the changes and additions she was always available and such a pleasure to deal with.
Even the delivery team at Winning are superstars- thank you Winning and team!
Absolutely brilliant service combined with extremely competitive pricing. We've visited a number of stores as we're in the process of building a new house and Winning Appliances stand out from the competition by a fair margin. Wasim, our sales rep was extremely patient with us, helped us select the best products for our needs and exceeded our expectations in every way possible. Highly recommended.
We purchased all of our kitchen appliances from WA Northmead. Customer Service was great and they also price matched. Harvinder took the time to demonstrate all the appliances and was very patient with us. Jason was also really helpful with all the logistics. Thank Team and keep up the good work!
I am extremely satisfied with Winning Appliances, their product selection, price, advise and after sales service is second to none. I have purchased many items through their store, and have always been extremely satisfied. I highly recommend them, and will be certainly purchasing with them again in the future.
This was my 2nd trip to this Northmead branch. I do not recommend this showroom in NorthMead for non westerners (non-whites) as it's evident from the reviews as well as my personal experience that the sales persons in this showroom practice and demonstrate discrimination in their approach to addresing the showroom crowd. The front desk person, Luke demonstrated great customer service and was very informative but he could not attend to us because he was I guess designated to the front desk.
I would urge non-westerners to think and ask yourself why would you spend money in an establishment that clearly discriminates you based on skin colour? We should not condone or seem to show we accept this behaviour in a service environment.
Delivery was super quick. I ordered a water filter for my fridge at 11.30pm and it was delivered at 8am the following morning. Excellent service! Thanks.
