Best meat you can get! Lovely and knowledgeable staff too. Recently did an assortment of sausages for a BBQ which were a massive hit. Someone even said these sausages were life changing and I agree.
Literally the best butchers out there. Everything I’ve taken home from Wholebeast has been exceptional. Their product, service and old school butcher mentality really sets this place apart from the rest. Marcus and is wife Amina are highly skilled and passionate about what they do and always have a good banter with me when I come in to see them.
Seriously good. If you're serious about food, Marcus is your man. Well sourced and aged collection of the most extraordinary meats. The fridge, freezer and preserves sections are an added bonus! Such a delight every visit.
Marcus and his team are absolute legends.the quality of meat is unbelievable, do yourself a favour and get some beef mince and there in house Bolognese sauce best Bolognese you will ever have!

Absolutely the best butchers you will ever go to. Marcus is incredibly passionate about all the meat he sells and will go above and beyond not only in finding out what your looking to make and suggesting what cut of meat would be the best option, but also in giving advice on how to cook it and alternative cuts you could try if you like the end outcome.
Almost all the meat is dry aged and the flavour is just through the roof. Be sure to cruise down on a Saturday morning before lunch and grab one of their ultra tasty Saturday offerings - always changing and always mouthwatering.
Given the quality of both the meat and service, I don't think I could ever go to another butcher.
By far, the most incredible butcher we have ever been to! It’s so cliche but you really get what you pay for. Not only is Marcus knowledgeable, his energy is so uplifting for the soul, and he takes the time to ask you what you’re cooking and recommends cuts of meat and tips accordingly. It’s wonderful to support a small business who takes so much pride in their food, and knowing everything about their animals.
Be open minded, and allow Marcus to recommend what is going to be the most delicious, fresh, and clean tasting meat you will ever have! His honesty is a breath of fresh air!
Also, we can’t cook Ragu alla napoletana or Bulalo (beef osso bucco soup) without his meat ever again!

Marcus and his team are doing a great job offering high-quality produce to the Marrickville community. I've done several large cuts from here on the BBQ and they are always incredible. Get him to butterfly you a leg of lamb for the BBQ and life will be good. The range of home made pickles is fabulous and there are always interesting new products to try! Thanks team and keep up the great work.

Beautiful dry aged steak at great prices for the quality of the cuts. If you know what you're doing when it comes to cooking steak; this is the place to go.
Marcus also gives away lots of left over bones for your furry friends, so be sure to pick some up:)

Top quality butcher with local shop vibes in Marrickville. Everything I've had from here has been delicious and the customer service has been next level!
The owner (I think) is very helpful and knowledgeable and can even help with cooking tips and makes great recommendations depending on occasion/amount of people etc.
Marcus is an absolute legend and his meat is on effing point. Always there with a smile, a tip on how to cook what can be intimidating slabs of meat (should probably ask for some food photography tips too) and happy to cut to order.
What more could you want from the friendly local butcher?
I don't eat meat often, but when I do, I save it for cuts from Whole Beast. So glad to have discovered this local butcher. Seasoned just with salt, the aged funk flavour of the rib eye and lamb cuts is spot-on and leaves a real impression. Our pup is also a big fan of the XL dog bones. I'm saddened we have to wait until Jan 21 to get our hands on some more!
Got a steak from here and it was the best steak I’ve ever cooked and one of the best I’ve ever eaten.
