Whites Creek Valley Park reviews
18Really nice place, quiet, shady, cool features like the wetland, skatepark and viaduct, and nice streets surrounding.
Lovely area to walk around while visiting family with baby in stroller and dog out for walk too.
A hidden gem including Lagoon, food garden, community garden, electric BBQs, basket ball court, skate ramp, seating, kids playground, shaded areas.
A sliver of parkland enhanced by industrious locals. Where else can your kids play on decent playground equipment while your teens enjoy the mini skatepark before everyone picks a small helping of the free grapes or mulberries from the community garden? Where else can you see native turtles in a wetland that captures, recycles and calms local runoff? Where else can you have your pants scared off by watching a Tarantula Hawk Wasp chase down and kill a Huntsman spider like we did this week? Well if you hang out in this park as much as we do with your eyes open, you'll see amazing things too!
Great locals park with kids play area, dog walking space and a beautiful wetland area where there are tortoises! Please do not feed them though it's bad for them to eat human food! There is also a nursery nearby, and an edible garden!
Such a lovely spot to take the children. Easy to keep them entertained with the turtle filled ponds, edible forests and playground.
Great park! So much to see and do. Skate park, basketball courts, shaded green space, community garden and orchard - all with the impressive backdrop of the aquaduct.
There's also a wetlands area nearby where we saw several turtles.
Great spot for catching up with friends and family or just relaxing solo.
Great park with loads of activities. Playground caters to smaller kids mainly, with swings slightly separated. Great nature walk on the other side of the skate park and basketball courts. Free electric BBQ up the back too, but sadly no toilets.
Playground, grass, trees, community garden, creek, turtles, lizards, skatepark, basketball court, and dog off leash and on leash area, it's a little heaven for family with little and big kids, and fur friends, except one thing is missing: toilet. But you can find a well maintained one about 250 meters down the road at Cohen park. So I guess it is a quiet a good place to spend the day!
Didn't know this place even existed! Such a wonderful quiet spot in the Inner West area where one man made such a difference. Great for kids to explore the ponds for frogs, fish and dragonflies. We spent about 20min here but could've spent longer.
A very valuable green space for a suburb with little of it. Shame they have so many fences that serve no purpose.
So peaceful and different places to park a picnic rug. There is play equipment for kids, BBQ, picnic tables, skate ramp and basketball court. A gorgeous community garden frames the park.
What a great walking path in inner Sydney. You must walk it sometime. Would love a cafe here somewhere. Maybe in the future.
Good place to come with a dog as there's an unleashed grass area next door. There's a "swamp" right here this is packed with long-necked tortoises and frogs. I look for the tortoises via day and concentrate to the frogs with the aid of night. Even via day, you is probably capable of see a frog if you look below a leaf. This vicinity has the whole thing! Superb for young and old. It additionally has a playground, basketball hoops, and a dog park! That's without a doubt cool.
I don't care much for the basketball hoop, nor the skateboard ramps. There's a "swamp" here that is filled with long-necked tortoises and frogs. I look for the tortoises by day, and listen to the frogs by night. Even by day, you might be able to see a frog if you look under a leaf.
We visited during the eco festival. Open area and safe with toilets. Locals are always about. Parking is toght during events else fine.
Great park for families, kids, dogs, skate park lovers or basketball players. Stable to rent and barbecue available.
