Westpac Branch reviews
16Opened a joint account at this branch last September. Shakil Khan was most helpful to my husband and I. Very fast processing and he explained everything very well.
Always incredibly swift and helpful whenever I’ve needed assistance with anything, whoever I’ve had has always been very good.
I have filed an official complaint against the male teller working here on Monday 18/7/22, so unprofessional I suggest this person stops working in customer service. You are a disgrace and too hopeless to be trained
This is a 0 star review, this branch does not deserve anything higher.
Arrived with a simple request, was turned away immediately (branch was completely empty, no one else to serve) because teller was too lazy to serve.
Told me to leave and call up customer service instead. First thing customer said on the phone later on that day: oh I'm so sorry, branch is the only place that can help you.
Had to go to another branch the next day, wasting more of my own lunch time.
The lazy, entitled and rude male teller at 44 Market st doesn't deserve to work there.
Excellent service from Heidi Qi Yan. I cannot praise enough. She has helped me out with a property purchase. She has done an exceptional work and beyond to assist me with the regard.
She is by far the very best home finance manager I have ever encountered in my life. Thank you
Very bad experience, unbelievable that they makes their own rule. Westpac should be the same, but now, here they do whatever. Do not recommend to come here ever!
Sabrina and a gentleman (sorry i couldnt catch his name) at the teller counter are always friendly whenever i visit and provide banking services very professionally. They deserve 5 stars. I like this branch!
Crystal and Sabrina were absolutely delightful. They were extremely forthcoming and went above and beyond for their customer service. I am very impressed by their level of service! Highly recommend coming here. Thank you so much Crystal and Sabrina!
I've had top Customer Service at this Westpac and it's one of my favourites. Even during Peak Hour, they get to you quickly and quite often the person at the front solves my problem for me.
The ATMs are good, has all the fast deposit technology and I've never seen a broken / shut down machine there.
Also feel very safe and secure there too, even at night time.
Good branch!
Very good customer service for the 3 times I visited them. They did have some system issues at times but the staff was very courteous, attentive and tried to provide good and fast service.
We’re tying to report bank fraud and “Sean” from the customer service line said at 6: 49pm that fraud can ONLY be reported at the branch where the account was started.
Is this to divert more refunds and legal problems? Seems like such a big financial institution could handle something like FRAUD without needing a low level bank teller.
There are other ways to report fraud, are you encouraging us to use those instead?
Very friendly from desk service, But alway only one staff service a long waiting line, desperately NEED staff at front. Other staff sitting at the desk doing nothing, leave one staff to work his head off!
No wonder this branch gets such a low rating. Went there to prebook for cash withdrawal as desired amount over their daily allowed limit, came back the next day for the withdrawal and the guy who organised the booking for me gave me 2k worth in $20 notes and lots of $50. As left contact number to them they should at least call me if they are having problem to organise $100 notes. I ended up walking out with 100 of $20 notes and heaps of $50 notes. What's the point for the pre book and getting my contact then?
This's the worst banking experience ever with the front desk. She is rude and ill-manned. The horrible staff should go back to the basic customer services training then allow to serve any customer.
The worst customer service. The way Hussain customer service agent spoke to me i have made a mind to changed from westpac to commonwealth bank. Need to get some one on the counter who knows what they doing. I withdraw 10k and he told me to wait 20 minutes for 100$ notes. I wonder how people like him sitting behind counter. I m definitely gonna close all my account from westpac
Today I visited this branch to deposit a cheque. I asked the concierge attendee to speak to the manager as I wished to get my cheque cashed on the day, since it was a bank cheque, which means the money is guaranteed! Instead a staff member came out and said she cannot help me. I asked if I can speak to the manager? She said I can go and have another word to her. The request was denied again. I found the service is terribly bad. It is not because of the money could not get cashed on the day (btw I have been banking with Westpac for over 10 years). But because she even did not bother to come out to see a customer. I have my credit card (s), saving account, term deposit and my self managed super fund with Westpac. I also have 2 insurances with BT which is the same company. It is extremely offensive to be treated like this, worthless and as a number for them. It is unacceptable by any standards.
What a waste of time, was advised I wouldn't be served until half an hour later, I was already using my break time for this, the CSR then confused me saying he can open an account now it just won't be approved because of checking my financial history. If NAB didn't give me such a hard time signing up with a debit card why should you? I'm not applying for a credit card. Left the building which I wasted my time and effort waking from work gaining nothing. Will sign up with ANZ instead
