8 1 hour waiting to pick up a credit card.
Long line, one person slowly serving customers when other staff went for 1 hour lunch break.
Terrible, terrible customer service!
I never see the bank with no staff at counter. I waited for 5 min and noone came out for service. When I saw someone and told I want to open new account. She told me to come tomorrow. And not helpful.
Then I went to Auburn branch next day. Auburn branch staffs are very friendly and helpful. I will never go to lane cove westpac again.
I only gave them one star because you can't give zero. Tried to transfer money. In 2023 they don't accept a digital licence or digital Medicare card! Yet you have to know your pin to access both on your phone. Terribly understaffed and even when there is a queue some staff keep tapping away on their computers instead of looking after customers. What a dreadful experience. Avoid at all costs.
Left my contact for a call back regarding collection of my credit card, I still haven’t received any call back. Someone reviewed 6 years ago about not able to pick up an approved credit card despite giving driving licence and passport just because the bank can’t identify him and it still happened to me. After 6 years, the bank hasn’t done nothing about identifying a new customer. Is the branch manager even doing his/her job? Not a single apology after wasting my time for 30 minutes by a Junior staff and it’s been 3 days, the staff still hasn’t followed up.

I received the worst treatment ever. I had my license they asked for passport. I brought my passport and license they made me stand there for 20 minutes and then the guy asked me for my overseas license. After half an hour the conclusion was that. 'Sorry we cannot give u your card without identifying you'.
