Pretty average zoo around Sydney
It might be due to the Zoo being partially under renovation and lantern project

This place is huge. Nothing fancy. No toilets or barbecues or picnic spots. Just lovely long walks. Often get to see kangaroos or white deer. Lots of birds. Usually quite quiet except for the cockatoos.

Yes, my client likes green spaces and water facilities. I took him to Western Sydney Parklands for his daily routine activities. We had a wonderful two hours leisure time of soccer game and my client did not want to leave the Playground any more. I had to convince and to lure him for us to go back to the disabilities centre for his dinner time. Western Sydney Parklands has many other spots that we are planning to visit such as the Zoo. It is 5 for me.

Beautiful place to visit, especially during the winter week days. Good for walking with kids or pets or riding a bike. You can also spot kangaroos (Eastern Grey I think), deer, rabbits and many different bird species.

Beautiful place for a walk, big tracks or small. Plenty of green grassy areas for kids to run around and play

What a top secret spot, the playground here is awesome and diverse the kids (and I) had a blast followed by a walk on the loop path, great family time.

Great place to walk, jog, ride bike, scuter or roller skates. Especially enjoyable during spring and autumn, when weather is neither too hot nor too cold. I enjoy watching the nature, especially birds, in this enclave of nature.

Great place to bicycle through. Wide, well maintained bitumen pathway system within the parkland areas. And very flat!

Great place to rent an outdoor shelter for a get together. There’s plenty of options with a number of them located relatively close to different car parks.

I would recommend scoping it out before renting it so you can pick the best one for you. Different capacities for each one, and also different facilities (some are well suited for BBQs, for example). There are also a couple shelters that cannot be rented and are a first come first serve availability.

Beautiful views, and clean facilities nonetheless

I just love The Parklands.
It's so huge and expansive. It's one of the best outdoor spaces in Western Sydney. It provides enjoyment for the whole family - now and in the decades to come.

Great resource to our community, I have using it more to take a run with lockdowns and I always feel safe.

Western Sydney Parkland is a recreational area that covers a lot of activities for yourself and your family.

From bush walking, cycling, mtb park, picnic area, dog park, wildlife park and more.

There is always a place for everyone.
This beautiful park is highly maintained by local councils.
It is a massive area that connects from Blacktown to Fairfield councils.

Being a local citizen in Blacktown, it is my duty to use it, keep it as clean and tidy as much as I can, so everyone and the coming generations can also benefit these beautiful natural resources.

I love it! The walks are doing me so good! And it does seem well kept! Unfortunately it's the people that use it, some abuse it! By just throwing their rubbish into the ground, and not putting it in the bins! And that is sad! I'm so glad that we have these magnificent Park lands! Well thought out and soo needed! Thank you!

Lovely open spaces, well maintained with a few BBQ areas. Great to get some fresh air in these covid times.

I frequent the shale Hill walking trails and it's really nice, bush and farmland trails. Good for walking and biking. Several entrances and intersecting trails.
