Wentworth Falls Lake Playground reviews
45Great spot to bring your little ones to play at the area! There are a variety of things that suits children of different ages! Do drop by if you are in the area and your little ones want some playtime. It’s also just a few steps away from the carpark, so it’s very accessible.
Fantastic playground that is enclosed. Great for parents. The play area catered for very young children to the older kids.
My son loves the playground area and we enjoyed the walk over to the other side of the water as well.
A beautiful park along Wentworth Falls Lake. We made a stop here on our way from Sydney to Lithgow.
Plenty of wildlife at the lake shore. It’s autumn time right now, and the the fall foliage was turning yellow, amber and red.
Great place to take the family. Good paths for kids to ride on. Lake to kayak on. Huge fenced playground. Grassed areas to set up your picnic. Some picnic tables provided. Can get busy on a nice day.
The rubber gets soooo burny hot and the woodchips give splinters so wear shoes! Other than that it's wondeful! Good playground and lively paddling in the lake.
The lake at Wentworth Falls is great, has bbqs, a great new playground for the kids. Personally I think it's a bit too big and takes up space for older kids who maybe wanna chuck a ball around or play some soccer.
But it is what it is. Great for young kids, not so much adolescents. There is a good walk that takes you right around the lake.its an easy walk, For anyone of a reasonable fitness level shouldn't have any problem.
A brilliant, inclusive playground by the lake - fully fenced and with equipment for kids of all ages and abilities, this is really a dream playground. Lots of parking and toilets nearby.
Beautiful spot for all the family. Towards the end of the week there's a food van that serves terrific sandwiches & coffee.
Locals use it for fishing, canoeing, kayaking & the Blue Mountains Dragon Boat Club practices their sport here.
Lovely footpath encircling a good portion of the lake makes it easy to walk around for any age or level of mobility.
Unfortunately only one area with a BBQ so it's first come first served & only 2 tables & chairs there so it's not visitor friendly from that point of view. They have a water bottle refill station & a dog watering station so that's a plus if you're out for some exercise with your furbabies (on lead only).
In fact, since the council has installed a 2nd huge enclosed kids play area, that takes up almost half the park now, & they still have the old play area at the other end, there is now only a very small area for other (kid-less) members of the public & locals to enjoy the area for a picnic now & it's right next to the noisy kid areas so this park is no where near as enjoyable for locals or visitors as it use to be. Especially if you just wanted to throw your rug down for a quiet picnic with friends & enjoy the lake. This now is not the park to visit for that kind of outing.
If you want a quiet picnic (no lake but outdoor pools, though), I would recommend Blackheath Park instead.
Came here by accident as we were meant to go to Wentworth falls lookout, but this place is nicely tugged in family oriented picnic area with BBQ and boat or kayaking ramp. Neat and clean toilets. There was a mobile Cafe also serving sandwiches and coffee. Water is very clean and colour are beautiful. You can take your picnic or just drive through for few good photos. It is not a big area so you might find it to be crowded.
Top playground and the kids loved it with full facilites.
It was right on the river too and the views ar the best. A beautiful spot that is secure with tons of parking too.
Very new playground with a lot of different play stations. Completely fenced, so safe to play for little children
Fantastic for walking your dog. Grab a coffee and food from Wenty falls Fed Cafe and picnic whilst feeding the duckies. Have kids, brilliant enclosed area for kids to play in a safe environment.
Very nice park and lake worth a visit a little over run with people on school holidays but still very nice. Has a bed and breakfast place close by and nice area to drive around locally.
Beautiful natural beauty.unfortunately being spoilt by too large playground and assorted touristy additions.
Hidden gem with an expansive playground and a cute pirate ship playground for younger kids. Lovely views and plenty of parking, large clean toilet block and free barbecues.
Great spot for the kids, picnic, stroll or a kayak. There's a beautiful little scenic spot near the water aswell of you follow the little track.
Nice play equipment, suitable for all ages. Lake is good for water activities like kayaks and paddle boards, with a few good entry points. There are public toilets.
Beautiful lake with lots of parking and excellent facilities such as bbq area, kids playground, toilets, and many open areas for a lovely day of picnic with family. Lake with a boat ramp access and a walk way to enjoy the view while walking.
