Wentworth Common

Lovely park. The spiral hill is an interesting feature. Hiring the shelters was more expensive than I thought. There is a kids' play area off to one side which is nice. The bathrooms are close and parking is good. There's no direct public transport as the train station is a 20min walk away which is a little bit of a problem but over all it's a great place for a picnic.

Went mid week and found it very peaceful. Has a good playground to take kids to. Bike tracks within the area are good to go explorong around the whole Homebush Bay area.

Nice quiet relaxing place when not busy. Has equipment for kids etc but you can relax and breath some fresh air. And watch the cool variety of bird life.

A beautiful use of public space. Amazing that a city can host an Olympics and end up with beautifully rehabilitated land that's an asset to Sydney. Brisbane could learn a lot from this place.

I absolutely adore this park. So much to do and walk around. Great park for kids and a cool spiral eco-formation that you can walk up. Love this park.

This is a big recreational park with playground, picnic and barbecue area and its own car park. It's on the foothill of the Bay Marker of Wentworth Point. My friends and I normally walk here from Sydney Olympic Park or sometimes bicycle here as it's not too far. There's plenty of barbecue space available with playgrounds for the young ones or the young at heart. It is a great place for the whole family.

Olympic Park has a very distinctive commanding height. You can look around the scenery of the whole area when you ascend the height. The scenery is beautiful, the environment is quiet, and the equipment is not bad. It is indeed a good place for sightseeing and leisure.

Like the place. Lots of play area for children and grown ups to hang around. Drinking water tap available. Toilets available.

Nice big picnic area - I would imagine it could get very busy.
Seems you can book big banquet areas for functions.

Secluded park with water play. Sandpit and tables. Shady too. Great for families. Not too busy

I recently attended a family event at Wentworth Common and was amazed that such a large picnic area was available so close to the city. The area we used for the gathering was large, clean and comfortable, and included two large bench tables which were undercover and two big barbecues. This was one of several similar set-ups throughout the area and there was heaps of open spaces as well. There was ample parking available and the whole area was easy to find. Everything we needed for a successful event was there, it was superb.

Beautiful Family day out in Wentworth Common park. So private and quiet and awesome area for family activities. Our families far and near love to gather in Wentworth Common it caters to all ages. Free BBQ and outdoor playground equipments for everyone.

Did a very popular Parkrun here in Wentworth Common. This is a very large and green park in Olympic Park. This really is a green oasis in the city, on the Parramatta River.

A great spot for families - BBQ facilities, covered seating and a children’s play area, with ample nearby free parking

Great place to run, jog, walk or have a picnic. Ideal place to conduct community events. Ample play equipment & if you are observant, you will come across dozens of blue-tongued lizards

A Beautiful Park with equipment for the kids to play on and paths to walk, run or ride on.
A fantastic parkrun here every Saturday at 8am too!

Great for a gathering. Toilets, rubbish bin, bbq, and large flat grassy area suitable for any sort of fun game.

Quiet playground with many people at the other end of the park. BBQ, sandpit, shades and grass areas.
