Wellman Strata Management

Beware-This strata management and their manager David Wellman are thieves allegedly, they stole my money & had been charging clients left right and center for common property issues whuch is the ceiling of the peoperty downstairs, Fair Trade already told us its not our headache but they still trespassed our units using a dodgy plumber and asked us to pay them 7K, just shonky, corrupt, lying doychebag David Wellman who is highly highly corrupt & a no show
STRATA MANAGER who never answers calls -Never Never answers! Do not use them! Their positive reviews are ALL FAKE! You will suffer lifelong! Yesterday I found out this strata management has imposed illegally 2 judgements in my credit file, well they will do this to all their clients! They are money hungry scavengers and need to go to jail

Cant even manage to send meeting minutes out in the 7 days required by law, constantly takes weeks to send. Really don't care. Cancerous company, avoid at all costs.

Not the most efficient strata management company. Only 1 strata manager for my apartment complex. If the manager is away, on leave, for whatever reason unavailable, this strata company does not have anyone else that can cover or help out in her absence. The receptionist reassured me many times in June and July that I will get call backs, the chances of that happening has been 0 through my interaction with them the last few times.

My experience with Wellman Strata Management was terrific. They are professional, attentive, kind and always easy communicating. We are very happy with the advise and service received from them. If you are looking for a strata management who can look after your building well they are the company to go to.

We engaged with Wellman strata a few months ago when the previous strata resigned and only gave us 7 day notice. Pretty good experience so far. Our building has defect claim which has been delayed for many years. David Wellman has shown his professionalism and expertise in this area and won the trust of owners. Nichole as strata manager is diligent and very good at responding. Lucky for us to find them to manage the building.

Best strata company I have dealt with. Very quick response to the email. Very engaging and helpful. Would recommend to everyone.

My dealing with Nicole Smith as a strata manager has been an amazing one. She is a breath of fresh air to deal with and wished more strata managers were as good as her. Her attention to details and process is next to nun and I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a strata manager to manage their building.

I’m living in my owner occupied apartment at Menai / Anglesey Estate. The complex is run by Wellman Strata Management.

My apartment was sold yesterday prior to auction for a record price but only because of the “ exceptional “ efficiency shown by Nicole Smith!

At the 11th hour we had to produce evidence that I actually did receive permission for my new timber flooring & bathroom extractor fan. The keen buyer was advised not to sign unless we could produce this information. This was late evening & we had only until 9am the next morning. We wanted to sell prior to auction so the auctioneer had to be notified.

Somehow Nicole seen my Request for Urgent Evidence & responded after hours … knowing this was vital. When I checked my email at 4: 30am the next morning, all we needed was there SUCH A RELIEF.

Nicole Smith you are an absolute legend. Thank you so much. Wellman Strata Management are lucky to have you!

Worst strata company I have dealt with. Don't respond to emails, take months to deal with issues if they do, have constant 'internal' issues, constantly turning over staff. If you're on the strata committee I am sure they are great, if you're not then you're on your own. I cannot advise strongly enough to look elsewhere for your strata services. If I could give no stars that would still be too many.

EDIT: Thanks for the response - what a shame you didn't show the same concern at the time it was required. And in trying to discredit my review by implying I have not lived in a complex you manage (something I see you do regularly), you should probably just look a little harder in your records.

I would certainly recommend Nicole Tilbrook for her excellent strata management knowledge, skills and expertise.

Owners corps has limited knowledge, and we pay someone who is lacking knowledge in capital works. Convincing Owners Corp to approve variation without understanding of scope and market rate, all ending up wasting strata money and no funds. Of course Wellman will defend themselves for saying the building have issues, building Corp are the one approved it, and don't prepare financial report. It is Strata manager duty of care to ensure the report are right and provide appropriate advice for anything goes wrong.

Tracey Lovie, the strata manger is absolutely terrible in her work. She does not care a bit whether she put in the strata report is accurate or not. She ruins the property value by putting false statement and again she does not care. Strata manger like her should be kicked out from every strata committee and industry.

Even though the lady at the office seems friendly on the phone I would not recommend this company. Called the office a few times before they forwarded me to my strata manager instead of the correct department.
The strata manager, even though responds to owners, does things last minute. Agenda and minutes sent out looks very amateur and has no details.
This company did not send me my levies and changed postings of my documents via email without me authorising it. They charged me interest for their mistake and has refused to waved that amount for a mistake that they did.
The company has asked me to take this review off saying that my problem is not with them when the issue started with the strata manager not acting on my request.
Just improve your services and the people you hire instead of picking on one bad review.
