Wellington Soldier's Memorial Club

Fantastic venue whether you need to host a work meeting, have lunch, catch up with friends etc. I am not from Wellington but travelled for work meetings monthly, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend!

I visited Wellington Soldiers Club today for lunch and had a great experience. Despite initially feeling like the place was empty of staff, the Chinese restaurant inside offered a delightful surprise. The menu featured all the classic Chinese favourites, along with a diverse selection of "Australian cuisine. "

We decided to go for the $13 lunch meals, and we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was clean, and the food arrived promptly. The quick service added to the overall positive experience. I would recommend Wellington Soldiers Club for a satisfying and affordable lunch option.

The food used to be so good.but now its tasteless and the meat is awful the soup had no taste to it

Large areas, good facilities, great friendly service, food is pretty good, tab, keno, shows, raffles, happy hour 5 to 6, pokies.

Kitchen staff would not let our group of 8 sit together because we hadn't booked ahead. On a ridiculous empty Monday evening we would be taking seats away from smaller groups.
Had a wake we organised through them last year and the food was exceptionally disappointing.
Bar staff and front of house are friendly and helpful.

Enjoyed my afternoon with my mum for her Birthday, the staff are friendly including Maria who Managers the Restaraunt. Would recommend to friends if want to get away from Dubbo for the afternoon and enjoy a quite and relaxing atmosphere.

Only concern workmen on roof removing roofing? Asbestos. They were suited up. We were walking near to go into entrance. No safety fencing or alerts

Lunch was very nice as we were told it would be, BUT PINEAPPLE DOES NOT GO IN PLUM PORK. 3/5.
Went to the casino area, I stood at the window where change etc is exchanged. A bearded white haired man wearing a blue shirt was counting money, without lifting his head he looked at me turned and walked away to put money in a register but remained in view. He then started a conversation with another bar man, picked up a glass and chatted with the person who put the glass down. NO-ONE came to serve me.the club was NOT busy and there were at least four staff on. I waited at least five minutes before I walked away-feeling humiliated and so angry. This bearded white haired man in the blue shirt So Rude! Don't deserve a one star

This is the place to have a slap at Wellington. Plenty of machines and plenty of drink. I had a small slap here but did no good, few small features but nothing that left me hungover for work the next day. Still, it was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly to a pair of outsiders of the town during a pandemic. I forgot to take some photos but so damn…

Beer and bar staff were fantastic. The restaurant staff were not- front of house was rude and not accommodating. Food- well- Could not eat the special fried rice (plate on its own) more salt than rice, chicken schnitzel was 5/10, crumbed lamb cutlets were 4/10 and the 300g set loin was a chunk of chuck steak. Dissappointed.

Good place for a drink with comfy seating and friendly bar staff. However the dinner was very very average. It wasn't busy at all but the meals looked like they had been rushed out. Came out luke warm and the salad was drenched in sauce. Don't think I'd go back for another dinner there but definietly for a drink.

It is ashame they have taken away the snooker tables what a bad decision it was alot of fun

Lovely customer service experience and a beautiful environment for a family to sit and relax and enjoy.

Great friendly staff, excellent door and bar staff, but the food leaves a lot to be desired.in other comments JoJo gaming sounds like they have their head up their well to do arse.

Great prices and great service! Don't know why RSL's always seem to serve Chinese food, but I'm not complaining!

Waited an hour with a buddy after ordering food had come out cold no refunds on the food and when asked why theres no refunds all she said was personal preference idk honestly would prefer my food come out hot and ice cold

Great place for a good meal. Went in as a guest and they treated us like members. Really modern and clean.
