Weedtechnics

We’ve been using the SW700 at the Narara Ecovillage for more than a year now and have found it to be a viable and non-toxic solution to the issue of grass ripping up our roads. It was not only effective on the roads but also useful in other areas on the property such as food growing areas, garden beds, paths and swales.

As a community we’ve agreed to minimise (and ideally eliminate) the use of poisonous substances using organic and Permaculture principles. The SW700 delivers superheated water and nothing else. For some aspects of its use we’ve found it to be labour saving as an alternative to hand weeding. It also demonstrates to the outside community an alternative to Glyphosate.
