After dealing with a previous agent over the course of 18 months for a failed purchase, dealing with Shamus returned my faith in dealing with real estate agents.

Shamus was transparent, responsive, and most of all reliable. I have the uttermost confidence that he would act in the best interest as either a buyer or seller and would recommend using him if you are considering buying or selling your property within the area.

I rented a unit through Watkins for about 10 years and found to be friendly and considerate; Dominika was always responsive and helpful. I will be happy to deal with Watkins in the future.

Skye at Watkins gave an amazing service however the rest of our time with Watkins was horrendous.
For four months, we were in a constant battle with them to clean the mould in the apartment caused by holes in the roof. Even when we needed to call an ambulance for an asthma attack triggered by mould they refused to clean it or even answer our calls and emails.
Michael Watkins and Dominika continued saying that they were waiting for plumbers reports months after they had access to them. We were told that no mould cleaners were available, but they were able to get it cleaned a week after we moved out and the timing of getting it cleaned reeks of indifference to a mould issue that nearly killed someone.

We spent thousands of dollars repairing the damage to our property and health while Watkins continued to try and blame us for mould caused cracked roof tiles leading to all the damage.
Every call and email was ignored and only responded to once we said we'd contact the NCAT for rent reduction.

The only redeeming part of our time at Watkins was the help from Skye.

We recently had to sell my late brothers home at Gymea. I would class it as VERY run down, almost a hoarders house, with a messy garden.
Shamus took on the challenge and arranged for repairs to the building, electrical work, garden maintenance and tree loppers, some cleaning etc. He was always positive and enthusiastic in the duties. Due to this, the house was sold within 10 days …. The sale went through quickly and we couldn’t be happier.

Pretty disappointed in the lack of professionalism Shamus showed my husband and I, after we had made arrangements with him to see a property. He sold the property prior to us seeing it and didn’t even have the courtesy to call and cancel, I called him and he rudely said he didn’t have to follow up with enquires, sold sorry! My husband was furious as he and I had both moved our meetings on the Friday in order to be available for our private inspection. Very Rude and unprofessional.
