Watermark Books & Cafe reviews
23Excellent oat milk flat white and a great book selection. Lots of seating as well, one of the nicer spots in the Terminal.
Purchased a plain croissant, didn’t come out till I asked for it 20 mins later.
Terrible service.
We found this to be quiet and clean. My husband's pot of tea was great and our pastries we warm and tasty. Unfortunately, my iced latte was short of a full serve!
This is hands down best book store great environment! Friendly service food and drink just as excellent
Went in looking for a book, could not see on the shelf. Young lady unhelpful and the went off to look and did not come back. I wanted 5 copies! Appalling service
One of my favourite places at the airport always great service until today customer service gone from 10 to 0 sad
Extremely poor service. Overcharged on items and made unauthorised deductions on my account as I used contactless. Still waiting for a response one week later.
Nice tasting coffee but terrible environmental result from this cafe.
Almost everyone sitting in the cafe has coffee in disposable cups, food in disposable cardboard Landfill We ordered requesting ceramic cups but we’re given disposable cups, we reminded them of our order in ceramic and he tipped the coffee into the ceramic cups.landfill Water came with two plastic cups. Landfill tick Landfill overload!
Legislate cafes to use washable crockery as they clearly cannot make these decisions themselves
Watermark-Lift your game for the sake of the environment and patrons of the cafe need to insist on this for these practices to change
Asked for a flat white in a cup. Barrister served my order in takeaway cup. Barrister refused to see my point when I asked if she wouldn’t mind processing my order as requested and said that’s your coffee in a takeaway cup. Would of been nice if she accepted the error and made a fresh brew in a cup as I ordered instead if me having to push the point. I’m now enjoying my coffee in a cup as I sit here writing this. Customer service is lacking here. Coffee thankfully is good.
I had one of the best coffees I have ever had here last Friday. I love campos and this coffee was absolutely amazing. Genuinely one of the best coffees ever.
Friendly staff and a good place to chill in T3 Qantas domestic terminal with plenty of seating. I ordered a water and banana bread. The banana bread was well toasted and delish. Solid selection of books for all ages and interests. Watermark as sells wine by the glass and the usual hot beverages. Located between Gate 5 & 6 ️
Best place in T3 to get a coffee and have a quiet sit. Good selection of books at reasonable prices, and very good coffee
Beautifully store that has got books along with a cafe attached
Was great working this place
Good wages penalty rates
But the only thing is the management
No good management, you won't be appreciated, you won't be motivated, just the thing you will be pushed for is upsell upsell upsell and meet the budget.
Worked this for 9 months only, great team Great staffs but the management team needs to be replaced a complete replacement.
I was forced to leave this place just because I care too much for the store
Store manager if you see this review
Step up ur work myan
Best coffee in the Qantas terminal!
Also very handy that it is located in the book store.
I drink a decaf latte and this was delicious. Lots of coffee shops around but you never know which ones actually make delicious coffee. The service was very friendly and unpretentious too. Coffee at Watermark Books is on par with coffee from Wellington New Zealand-the coffee capital of the world
Great environment to have a coffee and other food stuff. Friendly staff members, price competitive.
This is a fabulous book store in Sydney Airport Domestic Terminal with a great vibe. You can easily lose track of time in here, whilst waiting for a flight, as there is so much to see and read. You will find books on anything and everything with each section clearly labeled. They also have a cafe attached which makes great coffee. Coffee and books, a dangerous combination. Well worth a looksee.
I paid $6.50 for an iced chocolate and they gave me chocolate milk, no ice cream even. I gave them feedback that an iced chocolate always has ice cream and it should be called chocolate milk on the menu, and they apologised saying that the staff miscommunicated and they gave me a free croissant. But the issue is that a glass of milk with some chocolate topping is given the wrong name and charged through the nose for.
It was a nice quiet place to sit while waiting for my flight, and the staff were friendly.
A lovely relaxing space at the back of the book shop where they serve tea in a cup and saucer, and not disposable cup
Every time I fly to Sydney I will always stop at watermark books and cafe on my return journey home. Why you might ask and the reason is pretty simple. Generally when we eat/drink in an airport the quality is lacking, the furniture is uncomfortable and the food/coffee is average. Watermark cafe is a true exception, the coffee is reasonably priced, smooth, the perfect temperature and plenty of reading material to boot!
If you are in need of a coffee when you are in the Qantas terminal at the airport then this is the place to go.
