Warhammer reviews
38An unforgettable experience, I was impressed by Mr. C's patience and friendliness, not to mention his painting skills. We talked a lot. If you are new here you can try it, Warhammer is a cruel but charming world.
Great store.friendly and welcoming staff.
They have a model of the week where you can learn to paint miniatures.one staff member was quite the personality and was fun to learn from. The lore is intense for a first timer like me but even if you don't get into the game play, the crafting of the figurines is well worth exploring.
As anyone will tell you, Warhammer is like a boat.it's the perfect money sink
Nice staff and always remember me. Helpful without being too pushy and the shop sticks a small amount of fw resin too which is nice to have!
Absolutely amazing store, staff are also super great. They helped both me and my siblings get the grasp of the game and even let us build and paint some models. They answer any question with some much detail, highly recommend to all this store!
Conner is super helpful regarding any topic and product. He was able to answer any question no batter how broad the topic is with professionalism.
Came in to the store on holiday whilst in Sydney with my partner, and was greeted by Alec the store manager. One of the friendliest people I’ve met who was very happy to kindly take the time to teach and allow both myself and my partner paint some space marines models. Also showed us the very basic rules of the game which was fantastic! As someone who played warhammer in my childhood, this experience reinvigorated my want to get back into painting and trying to play the game! My partner who doesn’t know any of this stuff is also super keen to try paint some more models.
Thanks Alec for a great experience and for being so approachable during our time in store!
Got my first ever Warhammer 40K for a mates Bday present. Got the Starter Set Command edition, staff were really nice and enthusiastic! They recommended i get the paint set, so i did!
Today my nephew and I spent 3 hours at the shop with Connor and Alec teaching us about Warhammer. They were outstanding in their service, patience and knowledge. Can’t wait to be back in Sydney to learn more from them.
Thanks also to Will for teaching me one move in a game. Haha
Came today to help my friend who wants to get back into painting models. The Store Manager Alec was super nice to us both. He explained the different aspects of painting and all the equipment. He showed us how to paint, was very patient then gave us the model we painted for free in a nice box. Warhammer is something I played as a kid but working in mental health now, I can see the potential therapeutic benefits of painting and social connection playing.
Amazing experience with a bunch of help for starting a necromunda Orlock gang, it is a bit pricey but it is not this stores fault (rrp) overall cannot wait to go back
Professional and friendly stuff, nice oppotunity to try one of these. Unfortunately need to go to washroom. Will come back later.
Friendly and approachable staff who understand the hobby. The kit selection in store is unfortunately a bit limited, but gives you a good feel for the models offered in the full range. Kits are pricey though.
Came to this shop as a first timer looking to start painting models. Was helped by a staff member called William who couldn’t have been more helpful. He explained all the different starter packs, answered all my questions and even gave me a quick lesson on the basics of painting. Thanks mate!
Shop was empty of customers. The guy serving was very good. But found almost no middle earth items. The book I bought was $6- more than online with free delivery. And this was before their price increases. Would not spend the extra time and money again. GW is more concerned about their share price than their customers
A belated review but my experience of the place was going in to try paint a model and get some painting tips after buying one of the model sets, all i remember is an employee trying to strong arm me into buying their paint set which was 200 dollars. Haven't been able to shake the sense they're money grubbing ever since.
Very helpful staff, however there's no tables to play on any more! This was one of the main reasons to go to the Games Workshop stores - to play games.
Picking up the hobby for the first time in over 20 years. I wasn't too sure where to start, so I came into the store a couple of times this week and got some advice from the guys who work here. They were all super helpful and had me on the right track in no time.
Very knowledgeable staff, great selection of products and a great place to just look at Warhammer and window shop
This local outlet is worked by friendly staff, still doing their best through covid restrictions, and has a very decent range. New location is also very conveniently close to my bus route
Friendly and very helpful staff. Mark in particular has been an incredible wealth of knowledge in regards to both the hobby and books, fantastic bloke!
