Wallsend Swimming Centre reviews
18 4 lanes of the pool roped off for laps on a hot Saturday afternoon and only one or 2 people doing laps the whole time.
Not much supervisory presence either.
I love Wallsend Swimming Centre because of the great variety of pools and the park it's great fun and in a good area
Water was nice and clean, went early and it wasn't crowded, and it was warmer in the pool than out of it. Just what you want really.
It's a nice place for a swim as it doesn't get to busy even on weekends, Showers a little old but always have hot water.
Great place for families. Lots of room to spread out, have a BBQ and relax. Lots of pools to choose from. Lifeguards on duty also. Not expensive either.
Well suited for young kids. Good range of pools with varying depths, so all kids can enjoy it. Shade over the kids pools was great. Clean venue and good value, staff friendly and attentive.
Great place to go swimming, there is shelters, picnic tables, playground, little pool for baby's, another pool for toddlers and a big pool for all ages. Food is good there. The lifeguards are wonderful. I take my children there all the time and they love it.
Pretty quiet. At one point my son & I were the only one's at the whole pool. Toilets and the first aid office are the only things open. So take all drinks, food etc. Front desk is not open and you have to pay the Lifeguard when you enter who is up near first aid room, nowhere near front area. So it was a little confusing. The pool was relatively clean, although a dirty bandaid on the side of the pool wasn't nice to see. There is a huge difference between Lambton pool staff overly friendly & this pools staff. However since this is the first time visit, the staff may become more friendly towards more familiar faces.overall pretty good.
Always clean, great staff, amenities a bit out dated, could do with a bit of paint! Otherwise a great Wallsend secret for regular swimmers!
The water was so hot which felt like the heaters were running, and there were no clearly posted signs saying the pool was closing really early on new year's eve. I felt totally ripped off.
It wasn't packed out even thou there were a few parties happing we stayed for over 4 hours really enjoyable the water was beautiful
Dont walk on the grass without shoe on, so many Bindii.if you want a coffee take your own and they needs more staff when schools are attending.
Good facilites.
Good Supervision
Good service
Great management
What else can I Say
Good pool with nice facilities. Learn to swim classes are very good, great instructor and classes are well priced. Lots of parking available onsite.
Perfect place to bring young kids without the worry you will lose them! At the same time it has all the facilities you would expect of a decent public pool, 50m, learners pool, baby pool, playground, BBQs, undercovered areas and canteen.
I wish a pool can open much longer in Summer. Long day light is nice to cool daun.after a sun going daun
Had a great time until we were leaving and realized my sons nike air max shoes had bèen stolen.not happy.
Nice relaxed atmosphere, shade and a kiosk, serves hot food. Kids mostly want hot chips. Take your own picnic lunch and bar-b-q.
