Walgett Sporting Club

The Walgett Sports Club was a typical country community club. The venue was well attended (a little too crowded for my liking). Food and drink pricing was reasonable.
While the 'guest' registration was not working for digital licences, no one asked for evidence of guest membership so the registration process seems irrelevant.
I was pleasantly surprised to order a blue steak and receive one.
I'd go to this venue again.

Great food there. At a good price. Awesome customer service. As a truck driver these little places are great for truckies and locals.

The staff of the place have very bad ways of treating customers. I asked for a take away container for my food and they told me that I had to pay for that, to which I offered to pay with a card since I didn't have cash with me and they didn't want to charge me, supposedly because they couldn't with a card, and I asked them if they could give me anyway because I had a lot of food left over it was a shame to waste it, and they refused and didn't give me any solution. I felt like I wasn't talking to a person.a shame because the food is good.

Good venue.
Club meals at restaurant prices.
Chef did a good job under the pressured circumstances.

Had an amazing meal tonight at the seafood platter night that Cindy put on an all her other meals that she does throughout the week are just as good

Best place in Walgett to meet up with friends and family + meet all the travelers passing through Walgett.

Just had a few drinks on the outside deck overlooking the tennis courts and lamb shanks in the bistro. The staff were friendly and the food excellent. Can't ask for more.

What an awesome place.very friendly especially the bar man.great meal plenty of food. Very clean. A great place to sit and relax.
