Wagga Wagga Visitor Information Centre reviews
32 I always visit this information centre when in town. Today I visit at 9.45am. The staff was happy to take my money but didn't engage in any conversation or ask where I was from. In the past 3 weeks I have visited Leeten, Griffith, Narrandera & Junee information centres, all lovely happy informative staff.
On previous visits Sharon (a volunteer on the weekend) has always been warm & welcoming.
Oh yes by the way my postcode is 4802.
The workers are very informative and have extensive knowledge about Wagga Wagga and the surrounding areas with what is happening that weekend and tourist attractions.
It might be good for tourists if you don't have much time to explore other place in Wagga. You can get souvenirs from here which include Junie chocolate and handmade soaps etc
Great staff. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Lots of good info. Easy to find and park nearby.
Dam good staff friendly free tea coffee park your rv.there instead of going to junee chocolate factory you can come here variety of local produce worth the visit
Congratulations. Wonderful helpful service such a pleasant lady when I arrived 10 days ago the staff were so helpful. I purchased a HEMA map book, not because I needed it but in gratitude for the kind service I received. And as I was leaving your lovely town the service was still great
It's a shame though that somebody flogged my pink towel that I accidentally left in the shower room.
Friendly staff. Water is available here however you cannot get a caravan into the parking area unless it is virtually empty. If you have a water bladder or tank in your car, you can fill it from the tap but you’ll need a hose at least 15m long and your own tap fitting. Jerry cans are ok.
Very kind and helpful lady who provided me with good piece of information, plus a map and book with more details about what to do, where to go to and so on.
Had a bit of everything from postcards to honey jam cups everything needed something that has the name of wagga on it go there staff was nice
The lady was very informative of the enquiries I asked. Even looking for more information to enhance my stay.
Extremely helpful staff at Wagga’s information centre! Really helped us plan our next leg of our journey!
Great and extremely helpful staff who directed us through the city and provided us with good maps and brochures and their opinions and suggestions.
Need to give better info. The walking track around Wagga takes you to the mountains, not in Wagga
Backing onto the Murrumbidgee River a few seconds on foot from Baylis Street, the city’s visitor information centre is the obvious resource for travel inspiration, maps, leaflets and the like.
But the reason it makes it onto this list is because it’s also a gateway to all the great food and drink coming out of the agricultural Riverina region.
This could be wine, craft beer or cider, or, food-wise, natural licorice, olive oil, preserves, confectionery, honey, pistachios, premium vinegar or hot sauce.
And if you’re in need of a souvenir or something giftable there’s a big selection of indigenous arts and crafts as well sustainable home design handmade with recycled red gum.
Brilliant and extremely helpful staff. Have everything you could want from maps, accommodation ideas and even something to purchase from your trip. Plenty of parking and toilets are also available.
Friendly staff full of local knowledge every visitor should avail themselves the use of visitor centres. Always the first place I visit if I want inside info
Sehr schöner Ort. Gut ausgestattet mit Informationen und lokalen Produkten. Man kann dort Aboriginal Art kaufen - Didgeridoo, Bumerang, Bull Roarer und vieles andere. Ein Besuch lohnt sich.
This place was wonderful! It is clean and has lots of different critters to learn about. I got to meet Harry, the koala. He was super sleepy. We went into an enclosed to meet and feed kangaroos and wallabies. They are friend and will eat from your hand. Please do not bring outside food in. A man was feeding them bread and the kangaroos got excited.
Helpful and friendly staff and useful brochures and maps available. Wagga Wagga merchandise available, as well as some locally sourced specialities (olives, olive oil, honey, vinegar, pistachios), tea towels, bags, etc
