Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre reviews
12I visited the Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre in May to hear the concert performed by the Australian Army Band Kapooka. (My godson plays trumpet in the band.) The concert was highly entertaining and the venue superb. I made the booking by phone a few weeks before and found the staff very friendly and professional.
What a wonderful night watching my grand daughter perform on stage with her school. Great seats in row A
A great place for live theatre and especially comedy. Many great shows are available- check out the upcoming performances on their website.
Good theatre. I’ve been here once but it was good.
Didnt get a chance to take photo inside but the surrounding is also nice.
Excellent theatre, been to many live shows. Great facilities, sitting areas, a bar if needed. Easy access.
Fantastic evening at the lagoon listening to local music. Great weather and atmosphere. Well organised event that had been postponed. Please do something like this again!
This theatre is a fantastic addition to cosmopolitan Wagga. Local regional and international acts have all played here. A real staple on the touring circuit. Great tapas style pre show snack boxes on the balcony can be pre-ordered with a mix of local and varied wines and beers.
Don't be fooled by the preserved retro exterior. Modern sound, lighting and sets provide seamless entertainment. Comfortable seats and a gentle rake to the seats provide a relaxed space.
Easy access with ramps and fast exits. A hidden basement theatre provides local productions a smaller creative space reminiscent of Parisian basement drama spaces.
Good visibility of stage even in row k. Comfortable seats however the arm rests are short. I'd just call them seat dividers. Good leg room also.
Animal farm was brilliant. Congrats to shake and stir. I have never been in the presence of so many school students being so quite.
Easily accessible to buy tickets for another day. Very friendly assistive booking agent in pleasant surrounding.
Today we saw The Vicar of Dibley put on by the Wagga SoAct group. As usual, their productions are very entertaining & value for money. All covid-19 requirements were followed at The Basement Theatre. Well done again SoAct
