I can’t recommend Volvo Sutherland enough, the customer service was fantastic and really made me feel comfortable. Coming from the UK myself it was nice to hear a familiar voice in Steven Myers who was able to help assist me in finding the right car for me and my family. I’ve had 0 complaints since the purchase and we are debating buying another vehicle in the new year in which we will definitely be coming back to Sutherlands for. If you’re looking for a vehicle yourself then Steven and Sutherlands are the right people for you.
Amazing service by sales representative Randy when my wife and I visited the showroom. He was polite, friendly, professional, knowledgeable and keen to assist without being pushy. His approach led to us agreeing to purchase a Volvo C40. Unfortunately and disappointingly, despite agreeing to a sale, Randy was publicly pressured by the other sales representative to give the sale to him and another customer who was also keen on the vehicle but agreed after us. Particular highlights was being told that he was taking the sale as Randy was only a trainee and when I offered that this was a bit “dog eat dog and toxic to young staff”, he replied with “well that’s how it is”. Despite this, Randy was calm and still tried to assist. We would have definitely purchased from him if the manager he reports to was willing to match the price given by another Volvo dealership that we since have elected to go with. He wouldn’t even leave his office to speak with us, making Randy constantly going back and forth. As we go forward with purchasing a second Volvo (an XC90 Recharge) toward the end of the year, we will again be going with another dealership due to the behaviour and way we were spoken to by the other sales representative, but want to make it clear that it doesn’t reflect what a wonderful job Randy did when dealing with us. In summary, shop around at other Volvo dealerships as they seem to be more price competitive, and don’t reward a toxic workplace.
This was my first time visiting Sutherland Volvo. Best service team, Marnie is an absolute value to the company best customer service I have experienced in a very long time. I booked in my XC60 for a diagnosis concern, she kept me well informed through the whole process and repairs. I am very happy with the service I received, I will be back for all future repairs
A refreshing change, the service team promptly and enthusiastically took care of my xc70, very happy I made the switch back to Volvo Sutherland
Went there yesterday they were having pictorial and basically the photographer shooed us as we tried to find a free carpark spot. So we double parked where for sale cars are parked. We were then shooed away again without courtesy. The personnel just said you have to move again. A bit rude. We were going with the intension of seriously considering Volvo but because of this we just left and wont ever come back
Bought a new XC40 the other day from here Stephen was amazing to deal with. Stepped me through the process and when I picked up the car he took me through all the features and helped me pair up all the onboard services. Thanks Steve for your amazing service it was much appreciated. Harry
Buying a car unseen from interstate is a bit nervewracking but dealing with Stephen and others at the dealership was a pleasant and easy experience. Nothing was too much trouble and they organised transport and delivery for the car without fuss. The car arrived and we are thrilled with it. Great car buying experience.
All buyers beware of Salespersons Tanmoy Adhikari (claims to be principal consultant) and Stephen Myers.
They will push for sale on the spot and if you pay any deposit it's gone. They will try their best not to refund.
I was sold a Volvo XC40 FWD at a price better tha online, however I came to know next day this model is being discontinued. When I said I want to cancel my booking, they are making all kind of excuses.
Worst experience ever in a Car showroom.
There seems to be no management hierarchy and a desperation to sell. Most of the sale is of second hand cars in a Volvo showroom. Seems most dealers have given up on manufacturer as electric models are being sold online and there is limied margins on both sale and maintenance.
No wonder Telsa is taking over the market. You don't have o deal with crooks when buying one.
Took car for upgrade to seatbelt pre-tensioners (factory recall). Took an hour. A pleasurable experience from start to finish. Well recommended.
Worst experience I’ve ever had at a car dealership in my life.
First “Come in at 9am and pick up the car, it’ll be ready for you! ”
Second “Your car will be delivered to your house between 6-7pm, tow truck driver is ready”
Third “Nah, dealership is closed after hours now, it’s a public holiday tomorrow, come in on Friday”
Then I tell the dealership to just refund me so I can buy a car from someone with competency to deliver on promises, and get advised I’ll be charged a 10% purchase price fee to cancel
So much for their 100% refund in 30 days policy
Oh also, a big shoutout to the big bad Phillip (Sales Rep) who was more than happy to sell me the car, but as soon as I question his 10% purchase price fee, my number magically gets blocked
The one person who was nothing short of lovely to deal with at this dealership was Nicky, it was his day off and he was still replying and doing his best to sort things out despite the unfortunate occurance of events. This man deserves both a raise & promotion Well done Sir.
I purchased my Volvo Xc60 from Volvo Sutherland. My buying experience can be described as simply effortless & easy. From first contact with Philip to receiving the keys & taking ownership, it was perhaps the best experience I have had purchasing a new Vehicle, & the car has been great so far. I would highly recommend Sutherland if you are looking to purchase a new Volvo.
Volvo at Kirrawee, Sutherland, has exceeded my expectations, again and every time. At first contact, James was most professional and a pleasure to deal with. Ani at the front desk made sure of any follow up requests, bookings, inspections and repairs. Aaron was the hands on person and gave me a detailed run down on problem solving as I requested.
My just purchased and previously neglected XC60 T6 was in need of major repairs, overwhelming engine leaks, seized panoramic sunroof, 150,000 km major service, new brakes, USB and AUX replacement, just to name a few. This took place during the lockdown period in Sydney and I needed to get around to hospital visits as a cancer patient at the Saint George Hospital. Throughout this period, the team provided me with a loan car at no expense and this was appreciated. Their Spare Parts department gave me service, advice and fast delivery. Fairly priced for the amount of work carried out, I was told that Volvo also provides a life time warranty on their genuine parts.
A satisfied customer is the best form of advertising. Most professional and pleasant, highly recommended. I'm looking forward to buying my next new Volvo from this team.
