7The lady was full of great information on places to visit, were to eat, were to stay if looking for free camping places. There were lots of brochures to help and plenty of items to purchase.
The lady behind the counter was more than helpful with local knowledge of the area & also road closures nearby.
Two questions - answered by two lovely Staff. A lovely town. More than meets the eye. Perfect for Nature Lovers and Bush Walkers and Bush Campers. Just wish there was a shower facility open all hours for travellers and somewhere to free camp with toilets. Perhaps the Visitor Centre can recommend somewhere in the area where one doesnt have to go to Buronga for a 24 hr shower facility when finding that Hot Water isnt available at the Travellers Bike Hub in Mildura? A most spectacular part of the Murray and Darling River system. Worth a weeks visit at least!
Motel prices very reasonable, very quiet with no road noise as motel is in the middle of town in the main street. The motel has its own restaurant that serve large meals at very reasonable prices. I'll be using this motel to stay at when I'm travelling to or through Narrandera
