Vinnies Glebe reviews
15Items in this shop are extremely overpriced. Looking at the price, don’t feel that you’re in op shop
So its was my first time in years visiting (the old vinnies never had anything appealing to me) and it was so cool. I bought 6 items (I has to stop myself). They have a vintage and retro rack with reasobally priced pieces. The designer section is definitely more expensive $20- 150. They have lots of women's clothes as well as men. I definitely recommend but don't think of it as an opshop
It's hard for me to leave this review on Vinnies Glebe, as it has always been my favorite Vinnies. However, I feel that in recent months the prices have risen (a lot) and the variety of items is very low. I've been looking at the same books, dvds and clothes for weeks, and objects that used to change every day have been collecting dust on the shelf at extortionate prices. I don't know what is the reason for the change of dynamics in the store, but it becomes very boring to go from time to time and leave empty-handed. Hopefully it will be the store it was before where we could find treasures at fair prices <3
We are Glebe locals and have frequented and supported this vinnies since living here. However there is a particular older woman who treats us very rudely every time we are there, including today. Most of the other employees are lovely and we always come in to buy second hand books but lately that woman has been making our experience particularly unpleasant. It is disappointing because although the prices are a little steep we used to love going there and I would rate it very highly otherwise. We will actively be avoiding purchasing anything while she is in store. I assume she treats us poorly because we are younger and she looks down on us, as with women her age she seems nice enough.
I am a Glebe local and have loved going to Vinnies and buying books and secondhand clothes which although our little bit more expensive than they used to be are still good. However, in the last few times that I’ve been there, I have repeatedly been treated rudely buy a specific older employee. I presume it is because I am younger, but I feel looked down upon an unwelcome. I love buying secondhand things, but being treated poorly buy this employee has really tarnished the experience. I hope their can lift their game in the future.
Bit pricey but good quality options, love browsing through this shop & always find a treasured piece.
Good and big clothes bin outside the store to drop off clothes when so many other places are closed due to COVID
I have got to say ptobebly pne of the best merchandised stores other than Bankstown.im a regular @ most of your stires across innerwest/East/ southern & northern stores. The store looked immaculately clean, presentable & definsntoy styke & colour coordinated.
My oncly convern is about staff actually (Focus concentration & yhat the sture needs to habe sumbody loose on the floor tidying & watching theives -As i was there last wk browsing & watched a their steel -Whilst the shop assistant that was the guy work at the ckubter unpacking & paackinh stock whilst ur other staff member was @ the bank in her own world sorting out clothes from a shopping trolley. = so guys u may want to he more alert & attentive =) = So you can minimiss loss & focus on profit & loss prevention.
Ps: , Will be back though again -Found sum really gr8 authentic items in the store recently!

Came here after Glebe markets, it was crowded and there was nothing good there. I think it’s because everyone was there to get some “vintage finds” after the markets. I wouldn’t recommend
The better op-shop in the area, really well organised, great prices and opening hours are fantastic
Good to have a bin where we can donate unwanted clothing and stuff. They have a wide range of cheap used stuff. People should go there shopping more and help the needing.
For all those things you need and you don't, but don't want to buy new. The staff are really nice and the store easy to manuver around. Some things however are cheaper to buy new and in store, so know the retail price before purchasing! Remember that volunteers are pricing things with estimates so be sure to know the value of your purchase to save some $$
Good shoes collection. Large range for men. Friendly staff. Occasionally you'll find some quite expensive items, but i have definitely got some absolute bargains here too.
Often a really great range and quick turnover of products and clothing. Can sway to be a very pricey trip, which can be somewhat understandable given its location.
