Vinden Estate Wines reviews
48Great venue and beautiful garden with beautiful views overlooking from the inside cellar door. The host was good attention to details offered many mixed of wines ranges. I recommend this vineyard for anyone who love experience good wine & services.
Simply the most interesting tasting we did on our recent visit
Irakli was a great host. It makes a difference talking to someone involved in the wine-making.
Finally got the Vinden wines for the first time. Angus and the teams service was second to none, amazing wines and venue
Visited recently on a recommendation. The location is really pretty, the staff were good but pretty distracted even though we made a booking and the wines were just ‘okay’.
Such a beautiful boutique winery. The wines were exceptional. We enjoyed every wine we tasted. By far our favourite winery on our weekend away!
Amazing location and fantastic wines
Our host was so knowledgeable and friendly
Best wine tasting experience (and I’ve been to a few)
I recently visited Vinden Wines in the Hunter Valley and I was absolutely blown away by the experience. The views and scenery were breathtaking. The staff (Angus and Keli) were incredibly helpful and friendly, ensuring that the wine tasting experience was enjoyable and informative. I was impressed by the quality of the wines – some of the best I've had in a while, especially their Tempranillos and Chenin (which I think won some awards)
The combination of exceptional wines, stunning views, and attentive staff made my visit to Vinden Wines unforgettable. I'll definitely be coming back next time I'm in the Hunter Valley and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great wine tasting experience with stunning surroundings.
Best winery experience I’ve had. Angus & Hannah are extremely welcoming. They create the perfect atmosphere with brilliant stories about the wines to match.
We had a quiet and very engaging conversations whilst tasting nearly every single wine varieties there. We learnt so much about their wine making techniques and how they experiment with modern methods. Most importantly it’s all sourced within Hunter Valley which makes it even more special. The venue is also very friendly to dogs that want to accompany their hoomans.
After tasting numerous vintages from Vinden, the wines have consistently tasted great and there is a vast array of varietals to choose from! A strong admiration too for their take on progressive wine making while staying genuine and unpretentious.
By far one of the best wineries in the region. Super nice accommodating staff, beautiful picturesque scenery (insta worthy) and the wines were incredible. The experimental wines were so different to what we've tasted before, and were actually our favourite so far on the wine tasting trip. Very arty and original. Can't wait to come back
First time at the Hunter and it was the first place we went to for a tasting, they set the bar HIGH! Super friendly, our dogs had a great time too. The wines were top notch, and the view isn’t bad either:) 11/10 would recommend
Very beautiful grounds, dog friendly and one on one service. Wines and vines need more age on them.
Been here a couple of times and loved it every time.
Bought two boxes to take away and ordered more online a couple of months later. Great wine, very natural tastes and flavours.
Defo worth popping in for a tasting at least. Don’t miss out:)
This is my absolute favourite winery in the Hunter Valley! Angus Vinden has won many awards for his wine and wine making. His passion and knowledge of wine is second to none. He produces traditional Hunter styles as well as producing his offshoot label allowing more experimental approaches to his wines.
I visited the Estate with my three cousins on the weekend and tasted so many fabulous wines.
Angus and his team are so dedicated, knowledgeable and friendly it was a memorable tasting experience, the Vinden 2022 Alicante Bouschet was one of my favourites.
If you visit the Hunter Valley you must visit Vinden Estate.
This place was wonderful. From the moment we arrived, Angus and his staff looked after us. It was busy and we were running slightly late, yet they did their best to accommodate us and even gave us the option of the best seat in the house as soon as it became available. We added Vinden to our list because it was recommended by our friend, and we can see why. Definitely recommend and were not upset. Was great to see an owner (Angus) working there even though I’m sure he does long hours working the land. Loved that they don’t offer bags to people for the purchase of their wines and when we got chatting Angus explained that their wine bottles are used specifically so they can be reused (water jugs, kombucha, plants). Glad to see people (and businesses) prioritising these things where they can.
The spot is stunning so definitely think it should be added to your list.
If you like terrible wines go somewhere else but if you happen to enjoy some grape juice made magic don't miss this place. Well go on then what are you waiting for go suss it out
The wines were fine if a little overpriced & very young in age. But be warned not a single member of staff was wearing a mask! We felt so uncomfortable we couldn’t wait to leave.
We were here recently with a group of friends, and were disappointed from the get go with the service. The outlook is faultless, the wines were definitely experimental, but the service was the stand out - and not in a good way. It definitely tainted our visit.
